Estados Unidos Update:

Aaron Rodgers has left Brett Favre behind. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback climbed into fourth place on the all-time touchdown passes list with his throw to DK Metcalf in the second quarter against the New England Patriots.

With that throw, the four-time NFL MVP reached 509, breaking the tie with Favre, who was once his teammate in Green Bay.

Now Rodgers can only keep climbing if he extends his NFL stay beyond this season. The top three in touchdown passes are Tom Brady (649), Drew Brees (571) and Peyton Manning (539). Of those, only Manning is realistically within reach this year, and the former New York Jets quarterback would need to throw at least two touchdown passes in each remaining game.

Aaron Rodgers passes Brett Favre for the second time

This was the second time Aaron Rodgers has surpassed Brett Favre. The first came on the Packers’ all-time list. The Super Bowl XXXI winner threw 442 during his time at Lambeau Field, while the Super Bowl XLV champion broke that mark with a pass to Allen Lazard in Week 16 of the 2021 season against the Cleveland Browns.

In the end, A-Rod finished his Packers career with 475 touchdown passes, a mark that looks unlikely to be broken anytime soon.
