Green Bay’s quarterback Aaron Rodgers is set to start in the Packers’ divisional matchup with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday, despite dealing with several injuries.

Rodgers suffered a thumb injury during the loss to the New York Giants back in October and has been playing with it ever since. The 39-year-old suffered another injury (rib) last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, which forced him out of the game.

Love getting all the love

Jordan Love stepped in and played remarkably, throwing for 113 yards and a touchdown during that game.

His impressive performance against Philadelphia has had many calls for the 24-year-old to start the remaining five games, especially with the Packers’ upsetting 4-8 record.

But even with Love’s solid performance, Rodgers has no game status on the Packers’ Week 13 injury report.

It seems Green Bay is confident he will be back with full force on Sunday, despite not practicing on Wednesday and being limited on Thursday and Friday.

Rodgers’ birthday gift?

The Packers seek to keep their playoff hopes alive, even though it seems quite farfetched to earn a wild-card berth from here.

For now, they choose to try their luck with Rodgers at QB1.

And what’s a better birthday gift than getting back in the field?

Happy birthday to the Packers star!
