Trade rumors swirled around Adam Thielen as the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings reportedly discussed a deal that would send the veteran wide receiver back to Minnesota.
With Jordan Addison suspended and the Vikings thin at receiver, the move makes sense on their end. On the other hand, Carolina, crowded at wide receiver but still reliant on Thielen as Bryce Young’s top target, has little reason to part with him unless offered a third-round pick.

As fans waited for updates, Thielen’s wife Caitlin kept things light on Instagram, teasing with posts that hinted at big news.

For now, the Panthers’ best receiver remains in Carolina unless the Vikings seriously up their offer, which may indeed come in the form of a third-round pick.
