After four weeks out with a broken foot, Marquise Brown has been designated to return from injured reserve and the wide receiver could play in the game between the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City.

Should he not be activated for the 2022 NFL Mexico City Game, the Cardinals have a 21-day window to evaluate Brown's progression before adding him to the 53-player roster. The other wide receivers on the roster are DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore, A.J. Green, Greg Dortch, and Robbie Anderson.

The 25-year-old suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of the Week 6 game against the Seattle Seahawks. The estimated recovery time upon learning of the diagnosis was six weeks, but the wide receiver will return to practice early.
