Jones takes the sweep to the left side and he made a couple of moves before cutting all the way across field and he take it 39 yards to the house!
The Bears are running away with this game!
Reed rolls right and finds Sweeney but that pass goes for a gain of maybe a yard.

After review the call on the field stands, but the Bears line up quick and QB sneak it for a first down.

Reed tried to take it on his own and he got stopped right at the marker. The Bears are going to challenge the spot of the call. He got tripped up but spun towards the line. It could go either way even after seeing the replay.
Jones gets a couple yards on the second down run and that set up a 3rd and short.

The Bears take over from their 36 and a screen pass goes to Jones on first down. He follows his blockers for a gain of 7 to start the drive.

Cook tried to tuck it and run but he got dropped in the backfield for a loss of one.

Bears DB Coleman went down on the play, and the Chiefs bench was immediately calling for medical personel.

Steward was waiting to pounce on this ball after the rush came and got to Oladokun. It's hard to blame the QB when he gets hit on the release, but Steward jumped the pass and took it to the house for his second INT of the game.

World, meet Carson Steele. The undrafted rookie out of Ball State has been them most electric on the field. He's got 50 yards and a TD on just 4 carries and a nice kick return. He is earning his way on the team in the final preseason tune up.

When you are fighting for a spot on the roster, you can not make mistakes like Chris Oladokun made inside the 5 yard line a couple plays after your defense comes up with a turnover. It wasn't a first half that Oladokun is going to want to replay in his mind.

It took the Chiefs offense a while to get going since the starters got the night off. They needed some help from the special teams to get within striking distance, but even the muffed punt wasnt' enough to get them on the board.

The Bears landed the first punch thanks to Tyson Bagent who completed a couple passes before running in this 7 yard TD scramble on the opening drive of the game.
The second year QB may no be the one starting Week 1, but Chicago has a really good back up on the bench, if they should ever need him.

Steele busts through the middle, breaks it outside, stiff arms a couple defendes before lunging to the end zone on a 31 yard gain!!! The undrafted rookie from Ball State!! Give this guy a roster spot!
They called it a TD orignially but said he was out of bounds at the 1 after review.

Bagent shuffles to the right side but his pass underneath was behind Homer and the Bears are already looking at 3rd down.

After months of waiting, it’s almost game time. In just two weeks time, the NFL kicks off it’s regular season from Kansas City as the Chiefs host the Baltimore Ravens. It doesn’t get much bigger than this to start a season. It’s Patrick Mahomes and the two-time defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs taking on last year’s MVP Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship. Set your clocks. When tonight’s game kicks off we will only be 336 hours away. That’s 20,160 minutes and 1,210,00 seconds.

Last year: Chiefs
Kansas City didn’t look like the Super Bowl favorite for most of the year. They flew about as under the radar as a team coming off of a Super Bowl victory can. They lost their first game of the season to the Detroit Lions in primetime, but then rattled off six straight. They hit a rough patch in the middle of the season in which they dropped five of eight games, and went into the playoffs with an 11-6 record. Good, but not good enough to win the Conference which meant they Chiefs road to the Super Bowl would lay outside of Kansas City for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era. They beat AFC East pretenders Miami at home and Buffalo on the road and then went into Baltimore and beat the Ravens in an ugly January playoff game from Chesapeak Bay. That set up a meeting with the San Francisco 49ers on Super Bowl Sunday, and once again it was Patrick Mahomes playing hero late in the game. He forced the game to overtime setting up a game tying field goal before hitting Mecole Hardman for the game winning TD in OT.

Last year: Bears
Bears the gave Chicago another disappointing season last year, but unfortunately they are used in the Windy City. The first half of the season saw Chicago spiral. They lost their first four games, and seven of their first nine as Matt Eberflus’ was on the hot seat for the rest of the season. Justin Fields fought through injuries all season as he looked to secure his job as the Qb of the future in the Chi Town. Even though he returned from injury and played some of his best football the Bears let Fields go to take Williams No. 1. The Bears closed their season 5-3 in the final eight weeks, and showed fans signs of life, and something to look forward to coming into this year. They ended the year 7-10, but still got the first overall draft pick because the Panthers finished the season at the bottom of the barrel. They took Caleb Williams with that No. 1 pick and Chicago has been buzzing since that day.

Star watch: Chiefs
Kansas City’s stars need no introduction. Theres the Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, and All-Pro tight end turned lover boy, and Andy Reid on the sidelines, but I’m interested in seeing how the young guys progress throughout the seasons. Isaiah Pacheco is heading into his third year in the league while Rashee Rice might take a leading role on the WR corp after a fantastic rookie year. Xavier Worthy ran the fastest 40 time in combine history, and that should make this already unstoppable team that much more invincible. For the first time in his career, we saw Patrick Mahomes let some steam off on the sidelines after repeated drops, miscues and mistakes from his receivers. This year he’s got a group of wide receivers that are going to magnify his greatness.

Star watch: Bears
None of the Bears starters are going to play tonight, so instead of going into who to watch for tonight, we will go ahead and give you a little insight on who to watch in the regular season. Caleb Williams is obviously the magnet that will draw the casual NFL fan to just about each and every game, but he’s got an arsenal of weapons that most QBs in the league would envy. DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze at wide reciever, with Cole Kmet at tight end and D’Andre Swift in the backfield. This is going to be one explosive offense, and Williams is going to have all the resources to succeed in his first season in the NFL. That might add even more pressure on the rookie to perform.

Last game: Chiefs
Everyone is going to remember the play of the preseason which came out of the Chiefs game last week against the Lions. Patrick Mahomes went behind his back on a shuffle pass to Travis Kelce to set the social media world on fire in a game that meant less than nothing. What many people won’t remember is that the game was actually pretty good and went down to the wire. Carson Wentz came in after Mahomes played his two series, and put the Chiefs up 13-0. Detroit would chop into the lead with five field goals to close in on the Chiefs 16-15. The Chiefs scored to stretch the lead to eight points thanks 64 yard catch and run that Remigio would take to the house, only to see the Lions score on the next drive with a 7 yard Hendon Hooker TD scramble with 5:30 to go. The Lions had the ball last and Hooker set up a game winning 43-yard Jake Bates field goal.

Last game: Bears
Everything was clicking for the Chicago Bears last week against the Cincinnati Bengals. In a game in which none of the Bengals starters played, the Bears dominated the game from start to finish. Caleb Williams had a couple three and outs to start the game, but then we got a glimpse of exactly why he was brought to Chicago. He made an incredible play rolling to his left and letting fly down the sideline to find Rome Odunze before using his legs to scramble into the end zone for the first TD of his NFL career. Tyson Bagnet come on after Williams and played really well, leading the Bears on TD drives that ended in two of his passes that were caught in the end zone by Dante Pettis. The defense, meanwhile, came up with three turnovers and kept the Bengals offense off the scoreboard for the entire game.

We are live from Arrowhead
Hello everyone and welcome to the home of the two-time defending Super Bowl Champions where the Chiefs are back home looking wrap up the preseason with a win, but Andy Reid has decided to sit his starters so it will be the back ups on display tonight against the Chicago Bears. Bears coach Matt Eberflus said he will sit his starters tonight as well, so tonight is going to be all about the guys trying to make the 53 man roster. It may not be the most star studded game, but it’s tonight is one of the most important games of the season for these two coaches who will have to make final cuts after this game.
