Bears 24 vs 15 Eagles live online: stats, score and highlights | NFL Week 13 Black Friday

Williams capped the game off and shut the door on the Eagles with this 28 yard dime to Cole Kmet late in the fourth quarter. The Bears have now won five in a row and finally people should start realizing that this team is ready to compete with the best in the NFC. 

After the huge forced fumble on PHI, it was rookie Kyle Monangai who stretched the lead to 8 points with this TD run from 5 yards out. Monangai rushed for 130 yards and a TD on 22 carries and the Bears combined 281 yard on the ground. 

On a 3rd and short for Philly we usually just assume the first down, but not only were they stopped, Hurts fumbled the ball to spoil a chance to take a lead with a field goal or a TD. 

The Eagles picked off Caleb Willams and all of the sudden it looked like Philly had all the wind in their sails. They missed the PAT after the TD, but they had a chance to take the lead after the turnover midway through the third quarter. 

The Eagles would force a punt after the INT, and the Eagles offense finally started to click but it didn't last long. Hurt and the Eagles too it 93 yards down the field and he found AJ Brown who had 132 yards and a TD on a day that Hurts went for 230 yards on 19/34 passing, two TD and 1 INT. 

The first half TD from CHI was really the only highlight of the first half, but things got interesting in the second half. Hurts was picked off by Kevin Byard early in the 3rd quarter and Hurts just could not find his groove against this pesky Bears defense. 

The Chicago Bears sent a message to all of their doubters from the house of the Super Bowl champions and that message is they are here to stay. They went into Philly and beat the Eagles up on Black Friday. 

The Bears came into the CIty of Brotherly Love with a game plan and they executed it perfectly. They ran all over Philly and kept Hurts and Saquon on the bench. D'Andre Swift formed half of the two headed monster in the rushing attack and got into the end zone on a day that he went for 125 yards on the ground.

The Bears are 9-3 and have rattled off their 5th straight win. They top the NFC North and are aiming for a one seed in the conference.

What's coming up: Eagles

The Eagles have had some difficult matchups and are still 8-3 heading into this Black Friday showdown from the Link. Today the have the Bears, and then take on the Chargers in LA on a Monday night game, then host the Raiders before hitting the road for games against the Commanders and the Bills and finish off the season with the Commanders in Week 18. They will be eyeing the top seed in the NFC, but to do so they will have to win at least four of five of those games, if not all six. 

What's coming up: Bears

The Bears are at the top of the division at the moment, and have a chance to put a little distance between them and the Packers before the final stretch of the season. Today, they have the Eagles, and then they play the Packers in Green Bay, host the Browns, and the Packers at Soldier Field before heading to the Bay to take on the Niners and finishing off with a potentially huge match up in Chicago against the Lions. 

Calling on Saquon

With Jalen’s numbers not being what some people might expect from the Super Bowl winning quarterback you would expect Saquon Barkley would be having another monster year considering the Eagles are 8-3, but he has just 684 yards on the season and is averaging less than 4 yards per carry. He has had just one 100+ game yard rushing and that came against the Giants a month ago. Last year he had 10 100+ yard games rushing and ended the season with 2,005 yards and didn’t play the final game of the season. You have to expect he’s going to explode one of these games, but Chicago will be hoping that won’t be happening today. 

NFC Standings

Taking a look at the NFC standings we see both the Eagles and the Bears in the hunt for the one seed. Both teams are trailing the Los Angeles Rams who have been red hot and are 9-2 heading into Week 13. There are currently five teams with 8 wins heading into the weekend, luckily for both of these two teams they are leading their division, but have teams nipping at their heels in the NFC East and NFC North. The importance of today’s game can’t be understated in terms of playoff implications. 

Star watch: Eagles

It’s crazy to think that people can still criticize Jalen Hurts after all he has won and all he has proven over his career. This may not be the most prolific offense in the league, but they don’t have to be. Hurts has 2,284 yards passing and is completing 67.2% of his passes while throwing for 17 TDs and just one pick. He has also rushed for 8 TDs, most of them on tush pushes and most importantly he has led the Eagles to 8 wins out of 11 games. He will need to lead the charge in a game that the Eagles will look to rebound following last week’s lost when they got blanked in the second half.

Star watch: Bears

Caleb Williams had a tough first year in the NFL. He got sacked more than any QB in the league, and almost more than anyone in the history of the NFL for one season. But he survived, recovered and now under head coach Ben Johnson he is flourishing. He set goal for himself this preseason, and the main goals for him individually were to pass for over 4,000 yards and complete 70% of his passes. He is on pace to flirt with 4,000 yards currently at 2,568 yard but he is completing 59.2% of his passes. That may be a little below his expectations, but the good news is he is getting sacked less than twice a game and has just four picks as opposed to 16 TDs. 

Eagles last game 

It was an NFC East showdown between the Cowboys and the Eagles and Philly took a commanding 21-0 lead after a Jalen Hurts TD pass to AJ Brown and then a couple of rushing TDs from the QB, but the Eagles collapsed in the second half, allowing 24 unanswered points to blow the game thanks to a last second field goal from Brandon Aubrey to snap their four game win streak. Tonight they look to get back in the win column with a Black Friday showdown against another team hungry to knock off the champs. 

Bears last game 

The Bears had another put up or shut up game against the Pittsburgh Steelers who were without Aaron Rodgers, but it was still a tight match up that went down to the wire. Both teams exchanged leads through the entire four quarters, but it was Caleb Williams three TDs that made the difference, and Kyle Monangai’s 2 yard rushing TD early in the 4th quarter to put the Bears up 10. Pittsburgh would score a TD to tighten the game late, but the Chicago defense held Pittsburgh to a turnover on downs late in the 4th to seal their 4th straight win.

Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving weekend and welcome to Philly where the Eagles are back home after suffering a tough defeat to the Dallas Cowboys in a division game last week, but they still lead the division and are in the hunt for the one seed in the NFC. Another team in the hunt for the one seed 12 weeks into the season is the Chicago Bears who have exploded on to the scene and won four straight and eight of their last nine. It’s a battle of who’s who in the NFC, so get comfortable and get ready for the show.
