Gus Edwards punched in the final TD of the Ravens night, ensuring Baltimore would stay on top of the AFC North and stretch their lead over the Bengals with this three yard TD run. They are 8-3 and play the Chargers on Monday Night before their BYE week. The Bengals have to rebound, and will be carefully monitoring Joe Burrow's wrist in their mini BYE week after their Thursday night loss drops them back to .500.
Odell Beckham Jr. looked like his old self in the win, going for 116 yards on 4 catches, but was injured at the end of this play and didn't return after landing hard on his shoulder.
The Ravens run game dominated the Bengals defense, just like they did in the first match up between these two teams. Three players had eight rushes or more, with Edwards leading the way on his 12 carries for 62 yards. Keaton Mitchell had 8 rushes for 33 yards.
With Burrow sidelined, the Ravens essentially called game with this late first half touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson, his second of the night, this one to Rashod Bateman in the back of the endzone.
The Ravens struck back right before half with this stroke of fortune when Lamar Jackson's pass was tipped and fell into the hands of Nelson Agholor caught the deflected pass in stride and took it 37 yards for a TD to give the Ravens a lead they wouldn't let go of.
The Bengals were held to two field goal attempts, one successful attempt from 50 yards and a 53 yard miss from Evan McPherson. Joe Burrow would finally get the Bengals in the end zone with this three yard TD strike to Joe Mixon, but that would be the final play of Burrow's night after injuring his wrist on this throw.
Baltimore got off to a fantastic start, marching right down the field and finished their opening drive with this Gus Edwards TD run from three yards out. The TD didn't come without a price, as Mark Andrews went to the sidelines with an ankle injury and didn't return for the rest of the night.

WE ARE UNDERWAY FROM BALTIMORE!!!

Lamar Jackson and Baltimore start their first drive from the 25.
Tonight's odds
The Baltimore Ravens are 4 point favorites tonight from M&T Bank Stadium and the Over/Under is set at 46.5
I think the Ravens bounce back tonight and win the game at home, but like all AFC North games, tonight's contest is going to be close. Four points is a lot to give the Bengals so I'm taking them.
Ravens win 24-21 with a last second field goal.
Bengals injuries
The Bengals will be without some big impact players on both side of the ball in one of the biggest games of the year. On the offensive end, Joe Burrow will be without one of his top targets, as Tee Higgins will miss his second game in a row after suffering a hamstring injury. He is the third leading WR on the Bengals with 328 yards on the season. On the defensive side of the ball, Defense ends Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard have both come in as doubtful. Hubbard injured his ankle against the Bills in Week 9 and will miss the game tonight, but Hendrickson who hyperextended his knee on the final play of the Bengals loss to the Texans will play.
AFC Standings
Taking a look at the AFC standings, you get an idea of how tight things are in the AFC North. Surprisingly, it’s the Bengals who come into this week in last place in the division at 5-4 through 10 games. They may not seem to stressed about they was things have gone over the first half of the season, but when it comes down to it, the Bengals are 1-4 in the conference and have yet to win in the division. The Steelers are hanging on miraculously, and the Browns just lost their quarterback for the year, which means that it’s most likely going to be a two team race in the North, and this game could be a big deciding factor in who wins the division in two months time.
Joey B back in Baltimore
Joe Burrow had a rough start to the season, which means the Bengals had a rough start to the season. He strained his calf in preseason, and despite not being 100% healthy was under center in Week 1. Burrow failed to throw a TD pass in three of the first four games of the season. Little by little, Burrow’s calf started getting better, and the Bengals started looking better. In the last five games, Joe Cool has thrown 12 TDs, and had thrown just two INTs before the late part of last game in which he threw two fourth quarter picks. Tonight there is going to be a gun slinger showdown between two of the best QBs in the AFC.
MVP No. 2 on the way?
Lamar Jackson knows what it takes to win the league’s most valuable player award. He did so back in 2019, his second year in the NFL, when he passed for 36 TDs, and just 6 INTs while rushing for another 1,206 yards and seven TDs. Since then his stats have slowly decreased and in the last two years he has failed to finish the season, some speculating it had something to do with his unfulfilled contract extension petitions. Now he is back on the MVP track, and he is doing it while taking care of his body more by running only when he needs to instead of when he wants to. He is on pace to break his single season passing yard record, with 2,177 yards through 10 games. He does have just 10 TDs and has thrown five INTs, but he is fortunate to have a fantastic run game that is capable of taking some of the burden off of him in the red zone. These are the kind of games that strengthen your MVP chances, so let’s see what he can do tonight under the bright lights.
Ravens last game
Even though Baltimore was playing some of the best football of any team in the league, no one thought the Ravens were going to win out for the rest of the year. Having said that, up by 14 in the fourth quarter, not many thought they would be capable of losing the game to the Browns after dominating for the first 45 minutes. A late game collapse saw Deshaun Watson lead a quick TD drive to cut the lead in half with nine minutes to go in the 4th quarter, but it wasn’t until Lamar Jackson threw a pick six where you got the feeling that the team who had looked invincible over the last month might blow a two touchdown lead. Dustin Hopkins missed the PAT kept Baltimore up by one, but Cleveland forced a punt and Watson set up a game winning 40 yard field goal the Hopkins hit to bring an end to the Ravens streak.
Bengals last game
The Bengals were on their own month long run of wins, and took an early lead over the Texans thanks to a 32 yard Joe Burrow pass to Trenton Irwin in the first five minutes of the game. Cincy would then go scoreless until late in the third quarter, while allowing 20 unanswered points as CJ Stroud and Houston took control of the game. The Bengals cut the lead to 20-17, but a Texans TD and two Joe Burrow interceptions including one the in the redzone with 4:00 to go in the fourth would have seemingly put the game to rest. The defense brought the Bengals charging back as Cam Taylor-Britt came up with an INT that he almost took back for six. Two plays later the Bengals were in the end zone, and then forced a three and out which led to the game tying field goal, the only problem was they left 1:33 on the clock. For the second time in two weeks, Houston’s rookie QB orchestrated a game winning drive setting up a Matt Amendola 38 yard field goal to hand the Bengals their first loss in a month.
