Bills 10 - 35 Ravens summary, stats, scores and highlights | NFL Week 4

It was the running backs who dominated all facets of the offense for Baltimore. Derrick Henry did it on the ground and Justice Hill led the team in receiving with 78 yards on 6 catches and this TD to put the Ravens up 21-3 midway through the second quarter. 

The Ravens scored on their first three drives, and were in complete control from the very start. Their second drive took nine plays to get into the endzone, and this time it was Lamar Jackson finding the King for his second TD of the first quarter. 

The Baltimore Ravens are back to looking like the team everyone thought they would look like at the start of the season. They have bounced back after a slow start to the season, and they have done so on the shoulders of Derrick Henry. 

After going for 151 yards and two TDs last week in Dallas, Henry took the Ravens first snap of night to the house with an 87 yard sprint for six to stun the Bills in the first few minutes of the game. 

IT'S ALL OVER FROM BALTIMORE!!!

The Ravens blowout the Bills as Derrick Henry dominated the Buffalo defense from the very first snap. 

Davis up the right side and and he moves the chains with a gain of 3 yards. 

1st and 10 from the BUF 38. 

Davis is taken down after a short gain of 2 and that will take us to the Two Minute Warning. 

3rd and 1 from the BUF 35. 

BUF get the ball from their 26 and Davis takes it for 7 yards on a run to the right side. 

2nd and 3 from the BUF 33. 

Johnson, who is in at QB, finds Henry on a short pass to the right side and he makes the catch but is taken down after a gain of one. 

4th and 6 from the BUF 48. 

Henry gets the handoff to the left side and he picks up a yard.

BAL get the ball back from the BUF 49 and Henry gets two yards on the left side. 

2nd and 8 from the BUF 47. 

Trubisky going deep for Valdes-Scantling and that pass should have been picked off by Wiggins.

Short pass to th left side for Samuel and he picks up 2 yards.

BUF get the ball from their 6 and it's Trubisky in under center. Davis gets the handoff to the left side but he is swallowed up by Isaac for a loss of 4.

Henry is stopped in the backfield for a loss of a yard by Oliver.

The call was reversed, so on 2nd and 10 Hill gets 4 yards on the run to the left side.

Jackson on the play fake and he finds Likely off the roll out to the right side for a gain of 8. The Bills are going to challenge the play to see if the TE made the catch. 

Henry up the middle and he moves the chains for a gain of 5 yards and a first down.

Henry is stopped at the line of scrimmage to bring up 3rd and short.

Henry with the run up the middle and he picks up 9 yard on the first down carry.

Allen was under pressure and rolled left before looking deep for Hollins but that pass came in under thrown by a few yards. 

4th and 10 from the BUF 30 and the Bills go three and out. 

Allen looking deep for Kincaid, but he was double covered and that falls incomplete.

BUF take over from the 30, and Allen looks for Hollins on a quick throw to the right side but that was too far behind the WR.

When it's your night, it's your night. Henry fumbled the ball on his way into the end zone but Ricard was there jump on the fumble for his first TD of the season. 

Henry broke another big run to set up the Ravens TD as he closes in on 200 yards rushing for the night. This 38 yarder put BAL down to the 2 yard line and just a few plays later the Ravens would punch it in. 

Henry gets the handoff and he is stopped at the line of scrimmage.

Jackson on the play fake, and looks to the end zone for Bateman who had the TD in his hands, but couldn't hold on to it. A defensive holding flag will give the Ravens a free first down.

Henry is eaten up in the backfield for a loss of 3 yards.

Henry gets another pitch to the left side and he weaves his way into the secondary and turns on the jets for a 38 yard carry!

Jackson fakes the handoff to Henry and he runs left for a big gain of 19 yards.

Allen felt the pressure immediately and he escaped the first wave but Oweh was there to drop the QB for a loss of 16 yards.

Short pass over the middle for Coleman and he gets 6 yards.

Allen had nothing down field, so he threw it out of the back of the endzone on first down.

Another back shoulder throw from Allen to Coleman for a 21 yard gain.

Allen finds Kincaid on the left side and he lowers his shoulder and picks up 4.

Allen finds Kincaid with a strike over the middle and he takes it 25 yards for a big catch and run.

BUF get the ball from the 30 looking to get a quick score. Allen with a short pass to Hollins but that pass came in high and falls incomplete.

First it was Henry with a nice run, and then Hill had a spectacular catch and run which set up this Jackson 9 yard TD run. 

WIth the Bills coming out of the break rolling, the Ravens were against the ropes despite their double digit lead. Kyle Van Noy made sure that Buffalo didn't get too comfortable in their comeback bid. He sniffs out the trick play and jars the ball out of Allen's hand. 

Short pass to Hill who had a lot to do but he dances around one defender, then spins past another and picks up 17 yards for a first down!

Hill is wrapped up by Smoot in the backfield for a loss of a yard.

Hill up the middle and he picks up 6 yards on first down.

The Bills try a direct snap to Samuel and he pitches it back to Allen who got hit on his wind up and had it knocked out of his hand. Hamilton was there for the recovery and the Ravens D comes up with a timely turnover!

Jackson felt the pocket collapsing and tried to tuck it and run, but was tripped up by Spector for a loss of a yard. 

4th and 12 and the Ravens go three and out for a second straight series. 

After a false start, Henry is stopped in the backfield for a loss of 1.

BAL get the ball back from the 30 and Henry picks up 5 yards on a first down run to the left side.

Josh Allen was kept quiet in the first half of the game, but we knew we would see Allen come out swinging in the second half. We've got ourselves a ball game in Baltimore. 

TOUCHDOWN BUFFALO!!!

Johnson gets the handoff to the left side and bounces it to the pylon where he sprints past the defense and into the end zone!!!

BUF show signs of life out of the halftime break, but still trail 21-10 with 11:26 to go in the third quarter. 

Allen rolls to the right side and falling out of bounds slings a thrown down field to Shakir who slipped past everyone for a gain of 52 yards and the Bills are inside the 5!

BUF have their best field position of the game starting from the 40 and Cook got hit in the backfield by Hamilton and he is dropped for a loss of one.

BAL get the ball from the 30 to start the half and Buffalo comes with a blitz and finally get to Jackson who threw it out of bounds but was called for intentional grounding.

WE ARE BACK IN BALTIMORE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF ACTION!!!

Jackson has been nearly perfect in the first half. He's got 135 yards and 2 TDs on 11/13 passing. The second of his TD passes hit Justice Hill who leads BAL with 57 yards receiving and this TD. 

Josh Allen hasn't done a whole lot. He's 9/16 for just 42. yards. 

The Ravens made it look easy on their three scoring drives. The second TD possession came on a 9 play drive that was finished off with Jackson finding Henry on the short pass to stretch the lead to 14-3. 

Derek Henry started his night with a bang, breaking free on an 87 yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage for the first of his two opening half TDs. He's got 109 yards on 9 carries and is sure to get a good amount more as the Ravens try to protect this lead. 

WE ARE HEADED TO THE HALFTIME BREAK WITH THE RAVENS UP BIG ON BUFFALO!

Henry gets the pitch to the left side and he is taken down at the line of scrimmage and that will be the final play of the first half. 

Allen rushed out of the pocket and he is forced to throw it out of bounds as the Bills fail to make anything of the fumble just a few minutes ago.

Allen goes deep again, this time the ball is perfect for Coleman who had hit in his hands but couldn't reel it in.

Allen goes deep to Hollins, but that pass sailed out of bounds on the left side.

The Ravens are called with a delay of game after they call a second straight timeout. The Bills wanted a timeout, but Humphrey was hurt so BAL was charged with the timeout and then Harbaugh tried to take another timeout before the 4th and 2 snap, so that moves the chains and gives BUF a free first down.

Jackson took off on a run to the left side but got up ended and lost the ball! Spector was there to recover the fumble and the Bills get a much needed break!

Henry with a run to the right side and he gets 4 yards, but that's coming back after a holding penalty.

All kinds of time for Jackson and he finds Bateman wide open down the left side for a gain of 23.

Jackson tucks it and jets up the middle all the way to the marker and that 12 yard run will be just short of moving the chains

Pressure comes up the middle and Van Noy wraps up Allen and drops him for a loss of 7 and the Bills will punt again!

Allen finds Shakir on a short pass to the left side for a gain of just 2.

BUF get the ball at the 30 and Allen's pass to Hollins was behind the WR and almost picked off.

The Ravens can't be stopped. They have three TDs in the first three drives of the game, and they lead 21-3 midway through the second quarter.

On 3rd and logn, Jackson finds Hill with a screen pass to the right side and he races down field for a 15 yard gain.

Jackson was running out of time in the pocket and let a pass go that was too high for Agholor, but he almost made a spectacular one handed catch anyway.

Henry is dropped for no gain, and a holding penalty against BAL will back the Ravens up 10 yards.

The was Henry's second TD of the night. This one came through the air, and he didn't have to sprint nearly the length of the field like he did with his first TD. Henry's already having a huge night and we are 20 minutes into this game.

Bass drills a 50 yard field goal to put the Bills on the board for the first time tonight. 

Ravens lead 7-3 with 4:34 to go in the 1st quarter. 

Allen tucks it and runs up the middle, and gets 8 yards which won't be enough for the first down but will get the Bills a bit better of field position for a FG.

Allen rolls right and takes a deep shot to the endzone for Coleman, but that pass was batted away by Wiggins. A holding call is going to back the Bills up.

Allen finds Shakir over the middle and he pivots and leans forward for a gain of 8.

Allen tucks it and runs for the marker, but he began his slide before the line to gain, and that's going to bring up a 4th and short, which the Bills will go for.

Allen looks to the left side for Kincaid in the flat and he picks up five yards on the first play of the game.

Reese rooting on Ravens

The stars are out for Sunday Night Football. Angel Reese is in the house for this primetime match up in Baltimore and the Randallstown, Maryland native will no doubt be rooting on the home team tonight from M&T Bank Stadium. 

Tonight's odds

The Ravens are back home with a win under their belt and a 2.5 point favorite coming into this game tonight. The Over/Under is set at 46 as the odds makers expect some fireworks in this game. 

For as good as the Bills have been over the first couple games of the season, I don’t think the honey moon is going to last forever. Everything has gone right for Buffalo so far, and I think that ends tonight against the Ravens as they re-proclaim themselves as the top contenders to knock off the Chiefs in the AFC.

Fourth quarter troubles in Baltimore

The Ravens are the best three quarter team in the league, without a shadow of a doubt. Unfortunately this in the NFL, not the NHL. No team has given up more double digit fourth quarter leads than the Baltimore Ravens since 2021. They have blown a 10+ point fourth quarter lead 9 times since then, and that could have been 10 times had the Cowboys not taken so long to turn the offense on. You have to think with Derrick Henry, they will be a team that wears opponents down deep into the fourth quarter, but that hasn’t quite been the case so far. It’s still early, and the Ravens will figure things out. 

King Henry

It took a few weeks, but Derrick Henry finally had a break out game in a Ravens jersey. After games in which he rushed for 46 yards and 84 yards, the Baltimore offense saw him carry the ball 25 times against the Cowboys, and he ended the day with 151 yards and two TDs. Henry is the most dominant running back of this generation, and he is on a mission to win a Super Bowl. The more the Ravens incorporate him in the offense, the better they will be off. 

Star watch: Ravens

Lamar Jackson is coming off a season in which he won his second MVP award of his career, but the question remains, can he win the big one? That has been the question that has followed him since he got to Baltimore. He has been on talented teams before, but this might be the best team he has ever had around him. Last week was a big game. Maybe not “the big one” but it was a big one. Tonight is a big one too. The more games of this caliber Jackson wins, the more prepared he and the Ravens will be once those truly big games come late in the season. 

Star watch: Bills

We all know that Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis were the big names that departed Buffalo this offseason, but there are already some new stars who have made the Bills Mafia forget all about their former WRs that led them to playoff run after playoff run. As often in the case, the WR room was full of divas, and that would have an effect on Allen and the rest of the offense. That’s not the case this year. Rookie Keon Coleman caught his first TD of his young career and don’t be surprised if we see Allen targeting him over and over again tonight. 

Season recap: Ravens

The Ravens started the season with a rematch of the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and took them down to the wire. They were a toe nail away from getting an opening week win in KC, but Isaiah Likely couldn’t get his second foot down on the final play of the game and the Ravens just missed out on a fantastic start to the season. Things went south in the second week when the Ravens blew a 10 point fourth lead to the LV Raiders, and lost on a late field goal from Daniel Carlson as one of the preseason favorites in the AFC dropped to 0-2.

Season recap: Bills

Buffalo came into the season with a lot of questions after fresh young faces replaced established stars in Buffalo. One thing that didn’t change was Josh Allen, who has formed an immediate relationship with his new crop of WRs. The first couple quarters of the season looked a bit shaky as they went down big to the Cardinals in Week 1, but Allen put on his Superman cape and carried the team to victory. Then James Cook stepped up and scored a hat trick of TDs against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night in Week 2, and last week Allen went wild with his arm to sink the Jags on Monday night. 

Last game: Ravens

The Ravens went into Dallas knowing they needed a win after losses in the opening two weeks of the season. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens jumped all over the Cowboys, going up 28-6 in the first few minutes of the third quarter. Baltimore’s run game looked unstoppable as Jackson and Derrick Henry dominated the Dallas D, but as always the Ravens dropped their guard and almost gave up their 22 point 4th quarter lead, but did just enough to hold on for their first win of the season. 

Last game: Bills

The Bills come into this game on the heels of a Monday night beat down over the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was over by halftime as the Bills scored TDs in each of their first five drives. Allen threw four TDs in the first half and ended the game with 263 yards on 23/30 passing. The defense shut down Jags and the running game took over in the second half as James Cook and Allen combined for 83 of the Bills 122 rushing yards.

It was a long time coming for the Ravens were avoided early season crisis talks with their blowout win over the Cowboys and now look to get their first home win against another difficult opponent in the Buffalo Bills. The Bills offloaded most of their biggest offensive weapons over the summer, but they still have Josh Allen and that’s more than enough for Buffalo who are looking like one of the best teams in the league through the first month of the season.
