CeeDee Lamb’s hands betray him again: Seven drops vs Eagles highlight a bigger issue
The Dallas Cowboys may have pulled off the win over the Philadelphia Eagles, but CeeDee Lamb’s issues were concerning.

It was a frustrating day for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in the Week 12 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. Lamb’s hands let him down once more, continuing a trend that has plagued him this season.

CeeDee Lamb’s drops haunt Cowboys again vs Eagles
In today’s game, Lamb dropped three passes, including a critical opportunity late in the fourth quarter that could have set up a potential game-tying score. Lamb has now tallied seven drops this season against the Eagles.
While Lamb remains one of the Cowboys’ top offensive weapons, these missed catches continue to cost Dallas valuable yardage and momentum, especially in close games against division rivals like the Eagles.
The timing of Lamb’s drops made them particularly costly. One came deep in Eagles territory in the fourth quarter, a chance to drive into scoring range. Another occurred on a high-pressure third-down attempt that could have sustained a crucial drive.

While Lamb has acknowledged struggles earlier in the season, there are no public postgame comments from him yet regarding today’s matchup. His performance, however, suggests a need for continued focus on consistency and execution in high-pressure situations.
The Cowboys will rely on Lamb’s playmaking ability in the coming weeks. Particularly, quarterback Dak Prescott needs to trust his No. 1 target, especially in critical moments down the stretch. Correcting these drops is essential if Dallas hopes to remain competitive in the NFC East and push for a playoff spot.
