Chiefs’ Chris Jones turns press conference into Taylor Swift dance party
As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face the Buffalo Bills this week, Travis Kelce isn’t the only player getting inspiration from Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, and they’re feeling pretty good about themselves after last week’s victory over the Washington Commanders. Defensive tackle Chris Jones was feeling so good, he was singing and dancing at their press conference on Thursday.

Jones turned the Chiefs’ routine press conference into a mini Taylor Swift concert. With the team riding a three-game winning streak, Jones blasted Swift’s latest hit, “The Fate of Ophelia,” through the speakers and even sang along for a few seconds, eliciting laughter from the media in the room.

The moment marks a big contrast from two years ago, when he might have chosen her more defiant hit, “Look What You Made Me Do”, during a holdout. Now, Jones is all about good energy and team morale, something the Chiefs could use heading into their Week 9 road game against the Bills.
Even on the field, Swift’s influence is hard to miss. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce incorporated the viral “Ophelia” dance into his touchdown celebration during Week 8’s win over the Commanders, paying tribute to his fiancé.

Jones’ playful moment reflects the positive energy and camaraderie fueling the Chiefs’ midseason surge. Fans can expect him to bring the same vibe to Orchard Park.
