Estados Unidos Update:

The San Francisco 49ers continue to roll through the NFL season, holding firm as leaders of the NFC West. With a 20-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons at Levi’s Stadium, the Niners improved their record to 5-2 and showed once again why they remain one of the top contenders in the conference.

Niners’ McCaffrey back to his very best

Christian McCaffrey was the star of the night, delivering his best game of the year. The All-Pro running back rushed for 129 yards — his first 100-yard rushing game since 2023 — and totaled 201 yards from scrimmage, his first 200-yard outing since 2019. He scored twice on the ground, reminding everyone why he’s among the league’s most complete offensive players.

George Kittle returns, defense holds strong

The 49ers also got a boost from the return of tight end George Kittle, whose presence opened up the offense and helped balance the passing attack.

Meanwhile, the San Francisco defense stepped up despite missing star linebacker Fred Warner, who’s been sidelined with an ankle injury since last week. The unit successfully shut down Atlanta’s young weapons, limiting running back Bijan Robinson and wide receiver Drake London throughout the game.

Mac Jones keeps 49ers steady

Quarterback Mac Jones, who has stepped in for the injured Brock Purdy, continued his efficient run as a starter. The veteran signal-caller has now led San Francisco to four wins in his last five appearances, providing stability and poise under center.

What’s next for the Niners?

Next week, the Falcons return home to face the Miami Dolphins, while the 49ers hit the road to take on the Houston Texans in what could be another key test for San Francisco’s playoff ambitions.
