Goodnight!
That'll do it for the live feed tonight. Thanks so much for joining our coverage of the Cowboys vs Giants TNF game! We hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful night.
Goodnight!
Injuries GALORE
The game was FULL of injuries, unfortunately. The Cowboys and Giants both saw two key players leave the field hurt.
Cowboys edge rusher MicahParsons went ito the medical tent with an apparent leg injury.
TrevonDiggs and DeMarcusLawrence also left the game with injuries at one point but were both brought back in to play later.
Giants wide receiver MalikNabers suffered from a concussion in the 4th quarter and was ruled out the rest of the game.
The flags were abundant
It felt like there was a flag on every single play. Even announcer Al Michaels was getting annoyed.
The officials called a combined 12 penalties in the first half, much to the disdain of TNF play-by-play man Al Michaels. In the first half alone, the Cowboys had nine penalties for 70 yards lost and the Giants had three for 25 yards.
A rare miss from Aubrey
Aubrey earlier made a 60-yard field goal, but missed this one from 51 for his firest missed FG of the season and first-ever miss from 50+ yards.
The only reason the Giants had a shot
Kicker Greg Joseph kept the Giants in the game, making five straight field goals to give the Giants all 15 of their points.
CeeDee Lamb finding his rhythm
After last week's debacle, Lamb was hoping for a redemption game and he made it happen with this 55-yard touchdown contribution in the second quarter.
RB Rico Dowdle got the first TD for the Cowboys
After going 3 and out in their first drive, the Cowboys finally scored a touchdown on this 15-yard run.
And now for some highlights...

GAME TIME!
And it is game time!

Here we go!
One team are big favorites, but we'll find out soon if the experts were right...
Post Malone at the Cowboys-Giants game!
Singer/songwriter/rapper Post Malone is maybe the biggest Cowboys fan I've ever seen. And I'm from Dallas!
Not only is this a short week for Dallas, but it also makes a first for them for another disadvantage that all the other NFL teams have dealt with for years...
Giants vs Cowboys Injury report
COWBOYS INACTIVES
The Cowboys are already struggling enough on defense without the worry of injuries, but tonight, they're without safety Markquese Bell and rookie cornerback Caelen Carson. Bell will be missed on special teams more than anything. Carson, who has played in 77% of defensive snaps for Dallas, is dealing with a shoulder injury. Without DaRon Bland already, his absence is a big loss.
S Markquese Bell (ankle)
WR Ryan Flournoy
CB Caelen Carson (shoulder)
OT Matt Waletzko
QB Trey Lance (emergency QB3)
TE John Stephens Jr.
DE Tyrus Wheat
GIANTS INACTIVES
The Giants are also dealing with some defensive issues. Cornerback Adoree' Jackson missed practice all week and is now officially inactive as he deals with a calf injury. On top of that, the Giants are without nickel CB Dru Phillips, their third-round draft pick this year. Like Jackson, he's dealing with a calf injury. Wide receiver Darius Slayton was listed as questionable with a thumb injury, but is not listed as inactive and is expected to play against the Cowboys tonight.
QB Tommy DeVito (emergency QB3)
CB Adoree’ Jackson (calf)
CB Dru Phillips (calf)
S Anthony Johnson Jr.
LB Benton Whitley
LB Boogie Basham
G Jake Kubas
Contrast of the kickers
The Cowboys' only glimmer of consistent positivity right now is kicker Brandon Aubrey, the soccer player turned NFL sensation.
Aubrey has made all 10 of his field goal attempts this season and on top of that, he's 5-for-5 on 50-yard kicks. Last week, he hit a 65-yarder, the longest in Cowboys history and second-longest in NFL history. He's on course to break that record this season. He already made a 66-yarder in the preseason and was ready to attempt a 71-yarder. And I am pretty confident he would have made that, too.
On the flip side, the Giants' kicker Greg Joseph is struggling. When Graham Gano was plaed on Injured Reserve, the Giants signed him from the Lions' practice squad before their game against the Browns last week.
He made three extra points but missed a 48-yard field goal. Giants coach Brian Daboll said that Joseph will be the kicker for tonight's game against the Cowboys.
On that note, the Cowboys also can't seem to get a run game of their own going either.
They went into the season with a "running back by committee" approach in which Ezekiel Elliott, Rico Dowdle, and Deuce Vaughn are splitting time. It's been a huge fail. None of those three have reached 100 yards in a game yet and they rank 30th in the league, averaging 73.7 yards per game.
That's why many fans were hoping Jerry Jones would elevate Dalvin Cook from the practice squad to help get something going, but it doesn't look like that's happening this week...
The Cowboys' dreadful run defense
Through their last two losses, the Cowboys defense revealed just how bad they are at stopping the run. In all their losses last season, that was one of the big issues, and under new DC Mike Zimmer, it's not any better yet.
The Cowboys now rank dead last in the NFL with 185.7 yards allowed per game. The biggest issue for them now are runs off the edge. The opposing offenses know this, and that includes Giants QB Daniel Jones and RB Devin Singletary, who will be looking to take advantage of it the same way the Saints and Ravens did.
Daniel Jones improving little by little
The Giants quarterback was obviously going to improve with a healthy season. Last year, he was only able to play in six games and notched just two touchdown passes.
He's getting there now. After three games, Jones has four touchdowns and should steadily keep improving from there.
The Cowboys hold the overall record over the Giants, 75–47–2. And of their last 14 games against each other, the Giants have won just one.
And Dak Prescott's record against the Giants is 12-2 with the only two losses coming during his rookie season in 2016.
Matchup to watch: Diggs vs Nabers
Watching Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers go up against Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs would have been exciting regardless, but a little online feud between the two this offseason, in which Nabers said Diggs was the DB he was most excited to face, makes it that much juicier.
In his four years in the league, Diggs has established himself as one of the best corners in the league. Meanwhile, Nabers has been breaking records throughout his first three games and emerging as a young offensive star.
The two will finally face each other tonight, but Nabers is apparently going to let the game do the talking this time.
The Giants and Cowboys' similar seasons
The Giants and Cowboys are both 1-2 on the season so far. And both teams got their one win over the Cleveland Browns on the road.
The Cowboys’ two losses came at the hands of the NewOrleansSaints and BaltimoreRavens, both at home. In both games, the Dallas defense was unable to stop the run game and the offense barely had one. The Giants lost to 28-6 to the MinnesotaVikings and 21-18 to NFC East foes WashingtonCommanders.
