The Dallas Cowboys held their first padded practice on Tuesday and by Wednesday, they already had their first scuffle of training camp. The quick scuffle involved two rookies - tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford and cornerback Caelen Carson.

What happened between Spann-Ford and Carson at Cowboys training camp?

The scuffle began when Carson tried to strip the ball from Spann-Ford before dragging him to the ground in a tackle. After that, undrafted rookie safety Emany Johnson makes a hit before being joined by several other players piling on top.

Nick Harris from DallasCowboys.com posted to X that Wednesday’s practice saw a lot of tension between players, including more rookies.

“Tyler Guyton and Byron Vaughns banged helmets and exchanged some words earlier. Israel Mukuamu has been chatting. Peyton Hendershot and Julius Wood were also getting spirited. High intensity day today involving a lot of rookies.”
