The Dallas Cowboy and New Orleans Saints will play this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium. Both teams are coming off of dominant Week 1 wins - the Cowboys over the Browns and the Saints over the Panthers. Those games gave us a chance to look at the players and assess their fantasy value heading into Week 2. Here are the players you should start and sit on the Saints and Cowboys in Week 2.

Cowboys vs Saints: Fantasy Starts and Sits

*Obvious starts: Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb, Saints RB Alvin Kamara, Cowboys defense

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott - START

Despite a dominant victory over the Browns in Week 1, Prescott only managed to get 11.5 fantasy points. This week, however, he’s back at AT&T Stadium, where he averaged nearly 25 points a game last season. It’s also true that Prescott got off to a slow start last season, gaining lots of yards but no touchdowns in a blowout victory over the Giants. Now that he’s got his paycheck and knocked some rust off, he’s a start for me.

Saints QB Derek Carr - SIT

Against the Panthers, Carr threw three touchdown passes and gave fantasy managers 21.3 points. But this week will be different. He’s’ up against a formidable Cowboys defense that made Deshaun Watson’s life (even more) miserable last week. The fact that it’s a home game for Dallas makes a difference too. The Cowboys defense allowed just 13.2 fantasy points to quarterbacks at home in their last eight games.

Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks - START/Flex

Cooks is the Cowboys WR2 and although last season, it was tight end Jake Ferguson who saw the second-most targets behind Lamb, he’s still listed as questionable and may not see that same volume in Week 2. Last week, Cooks caught four of seven passes for 40 yards and a touchdown. He’s shown that he does well in deep-threat situations, an area where the Saints defense typically struggles.

Saints WR Chris Olave - SIT

Against the Panthers, Olave caught just two passes for 11 yards, and he will be facing a tough Cowboys defense in Week 2. The Week 1 flop was certainly unexpected, so even if you choose to play it safe and bench him this week, I wouldn’t drop him just yet. Still, I don’t think his comeback is coming against Dallas. There is the possibility that the Saints rely more on the passing game this week than they did with the Panthers, but the Dallas defense gave up the sixth-fewest PPR points to wide receivers last year.

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed - START

In Week 1, Shaheed pulled in three receptions on five targets for 73 yards and a 59-yard touchdown. While he will share targets with Olave, he will have the advantage of being the more open target with the Cowboys defense likely focusing on Olave. Plus he showed last week that he has the ability to make explosive plays, giving him quite a bit more upside.

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott - SIT

Elliott only played in 32 snaps for Dallas, and while he was able to get a touchdown and 12.9 fantasy points, I’m not sure he’ll keep that momentum up in Week 2 against the Saints. The Cowboys are using a committee approach to their running backs this season, and Elliott will be up against a Saints defense that allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to RBs last season.

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson - SIT

Ferguson has been limited in practice after suffering from a minor MCL sprain and bone bruising in Week 1, but has not been ruled out for the game against the Saints. Although there is optimism that he may still play, he could be quite limited this week. In Week 1, he was targeted five times, making three catches for just 15 yards before the injury in the third quarter.

Saints TE Foster Moreau - SIT

Although Moreau saw just 11 routes in Week 1, he ended up with four receptions on four targets for 43 yards and a touchdown. However, he left the game in the fourth quarter and is now in the concussion protocol. Even if he clears it and starts for the Saints, he’s not likely to put up the same kind of points against Dallas as he did against Carolina.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson - SIT

Johnson started out the season well with a touchdown and double-digit fantasy points. However, he played just 23 snaps with the majority of those and the targets going to Moreau. Plus, since last year, the Dallas defense has allowed just 43.4 receiving yards per game and the sixth-fewest points to tight ends.

Saints Defense - SIT

The Saints defense had a great Week 1, but they played against the Panthers, who are one of the worst teams in the league right now. The Cowboys, on the other hand, have a much better offense that is much harder to stop, especially at home.
