Dallas Cowboys complete 2024 schedule: Dates of the games and rivals
The Cowboys kick off their 2024 season on Sept. 8, taking on the Browns. For the first time since 2011, they will open the season against an AFC team.
The Dallas Cowboys’ NFL season kicks off on September 8th when they visit Cleveland for the first time since 2016 to play against the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett, and the Browns.
The team will then return to Arlington for back-to-back home games against the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens at AT&T Stadium. The upcoming season will also include at least seven national television appearances, broadcasting the Cowboys’ most anticipated matchups.
Notably, the Cowboys’ schedule features six games broadcast nationally in primetime, three of which take place at AT&T Stadium. Fans can look forward to seeing their team in the spotlight across the country.
In Week 3, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott, both finalists for last season’s NFL MVP award, are scheduled to face off in Arlington.
The Cowboys’ October schedule includes a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 6th, followed by a home game against the Detroit Lions on October 13th. They will then travel to face the San Francisco 49ers to close out the month.
The Cowboys have two Monday Night Football games, one on November 18th against the Houston Texans and the other on December 9th versus quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
In late November, the Cowboys will play back-to-back games against NFC East rivals. They will face the Washington Commanders on November 24th and then play their annual Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Giants on November 28th.
The Cowboys’ schedule also features nine games against eight teams that earned a spot in the 2023 playoffs.
