Cowboys at Seahawks LIVE ONLINE
Cowboys vs Seahawks SUMMARY: Seahawks defeat Dallas, move to 2-0 on the season
The Seattle Seahawks had an impressive showing from several players, including backup QB Drew Lock, who went 5-of-6 for 119 yards in their 22-14 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Lock connected with rookie WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba for 48 yards, which set up the 1-yard touchdown run from DeeJay Dallas, giving them a 10-7 lead. The Cowboys gained on them, but Seattle never gave up the lead.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys got 13-of-18 for 136 yards out of third-string QB WillGrier, but one interception. That interception came at a critical time and after a lot of work getting downfield near the end zone. Before coming in, Cooper Rush started for the Cowboys, who set up their first TD - it was rookie RB Deuce Vaughn on a 14-yard run, who has been a breakout star throughout the preseason for Dallas.
Other than one other TD run by RB Rico Dowdle, the Cowboys couldn't hold off the Seattle defense. Just after the Grier interception, they forced a safety by blocking Bryan Anger's punt. It was the Seahawks defense who kept Dallas from getting anywhere at the end of the game, despite giving them the chance to after Jason Myers missed a 43-yard field goal.
The Seahawks are now 2-0 on the preseason as they head to the Packers next week. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are 0-2 as they prepare to take on the Raiders to end their preseason.

Geno Smith will play
Seahawks starting QB Geno Smith is suited up and ready to play against the Cowboys!
Snoop Dogg, Will Ferrell, and Roger Goodell scold Pete Carroll for "showing up" his own players
Does Geno Smith have some competition at quarterback? A viral video of 71-year-old Seahawks coach Pete Carroll playing the QB position is pretty impressive. Of course, we don't really think he'll be taking anyone's job, but that didn't stop the likes of Snoop Dogg, Will Ferrell, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell from giving him a talking to for embarrassing his own players with his skills.
Deuce Vaughn one of Dallas' biggest surprises
Running back Deuce Vaughn may be one of the biggest surprises to come out of the Cowboys draft. He wasn't drafted until the sixth round, likely due to his size (5' 6", 176 pounds). Despite that, he has shown out in training camp and in his preseason debut, making himself a candidate for the RB2 position behind Pollard.
Read more about Vaughn's journey from Kansas State to the NFL.
Cowboys kicker woes
Is Brandon Aubrey the guy for Dallas? Let's hope so. He performed fine against the Jaguars and has done well enough in training camp, but it will be interesting to see how he does tonight against the Seahawks (and next week against the Raiders). If he's not the guy, then the Cowboys will need to look into signing a veteran free agent, and it's something they need to do soon. Tonight is another chance for Aubrey to prove himself.
Keep an eye on Devin Bush
The Seahawks linebacker shone in their preseason opener with five tackles and a tackle for loss. He signed a one-year deal with Seattle, but will still be up against Jordyn Brooks, who was just activated from the PUP list. If he does well against the Cowboys though, he should be a roster lock and potentially revamp his career after a mediocre stint with the Steelers.
Cowboys release unofficial depth chart
The Dallas Cowboys have released another unofficial depth chart ahead of their Preseason Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks, but no changes have been made since last week.
No Prescott for Cowboys tonight
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy does not believe in putting his starters in during preseason, and especially not star quarterback Dak Prescott. So, no chance of us seeing him tonight. But that doesn't mean he's not using his time on the sidelines productively. Prescott said he's learning more about McCarthy's game pace watching off the field.
Instead tonight, we will see more from backups Cooper Rush and Will Grier. Last week, Rush went 10-of-12 for 83 yards before Frier took over, going 22-of-31 for 199 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
How the Cowboys and Seahawks match up historically
Cargando...
How was preseason week 1?
The Seahawks won their first preseason game over the Minnesota Vikings, but the Cowboys lost their opening game to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Let's assess a bit.
Seahawks Week 1
Pete Carroll held most of the starters last week (which may mean we'll see some tonight, but he's declined to say as of yet). Still, they had an impressive defensive showing, holding the Vikings to just 83 rushing yards and an average of 3.2 yards per carry.
Another positive note for Seattle is the performance of their backup quarterback, Drew Lock. In his first time taking the field for the Seahawks, he threw two touchdown passes.
Cowboys Week 1
The Cowboys had a few positives and a few notes of concern/places of improvement to take away from their loss to the Jaguars. One point of improvement is on the Dallas o-line, which was inconsistent and sloppy in Week 1. Perhaps more worrying was the defense. I'll note that the Cowboys were playing their backups and the Jaguars their starters for much of the game, but still, the Cowboys boast quite a bit of depth on defense. And yet, the pass rush was unimpressive, not a single sack recorded in the game.
One positive is at receiver. Both tight end and wide receiver positions look to have much more promising depth than last year. TE John Stephens led, catching five of seven targets and one touchdown. On top of that, Jalen Tolbert and Simi Fehoko both looked way better than last season. And of course, we must mention running back Deuce Vaughn, the small but fierce rookie out of Kansas State. He led the team in rush yards (50) and notched a touchdown in his debut.
