Bills CB Dane Jackson taken off field in ambulance after hit to head
Monday Night Football had to be stopped when Buffalo Bills cornerback Dane Jackson collided with teammate Tremaine Edmunds.
Dane Jackson, who plays defensive back for the Buffalo Bills, had to be helped off the field in an ambulance during Monday night’s NFL game against the Tennessee Titans.
In the second quarter of the game between the Titans and the Bills that was broadcast on “Monday Night Football,” Jackson took a hit from a teammate named Tremaine Edmunds, which caused his head and neck to be bent backward at a very gruesome angle. Jackson later passed out as a result of his injuries.
On the field in Buffalo, Jackson lay on the ground for a few minutes before being carried into an ambulance.
After taking the hit, Jackson was observed moving both his arms and legs, which might be interpreted as a possible positive sign. However, as Jackson left the field of play, the ESPN sideline reporters did not have any quick updates on Jackson’s condition.

Jackson’s head and neck were wrenched back at an unnatural angle as a result of the hit, and he would be placed in an ambulance and taken out of the game as a result.
Soon after that, the Bills announced that Jackson would be transferred to a nearby medical facility to determine whether or not he had sustained damage to his neck. A CT scan and an x-ray will be performed on him; he has mobility in all limbs now
