Update:

The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a 28-31 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, losing top spot in the AFC North.

There was some reason to be cheerful for the Steelers pass rusher T.J. Watt, who recorded the 115th sack of his NFL career. That play from Watt set up the Steelers for a second quarter touchdown, stripping Caleb Williams of the ball to leave Nick Herbig to run the ball home.

With that sack, Watt moves up to 26th in the all-time list and overtakes a familiar face. J.J. Watt managed 114 sacks in his NFL career, twice leading the league for sacks. J.J. was a three-time Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the 2010s All-Decade Team.

Speaking after the game, T.J. paid tribute to his brother’s exploits in the league and admitted that he had felt lucky to have watched his brother as a younger player.

“I was spoiled to be able to watch him play,” he told CBS Sports after the game. “He was getting 1-2 sacks, three TFLs a game, batting passes every single game. It just seemed so normal that I took it for granted.”

“When I got to the NFL, it wasn’t until then that I realized how hard it is to do what he’s been doing his whole career. I just have a great amount of respect for him and everything that he’s been able to accomplish, because it is so hard to succeed at this level.”
