DeMarcus Lawrence signs with Seahawks after 11-year tenure with Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys lost one of their top defenders as DeMarcus Lawrence signed a three-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks.


After 11 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence has found a new home in Seattle.

The four-time Pro Bowler has signed a three-year, $42 million max deal with the Seattle Seahawks with $18 million guaranteed. While Lawrence will enhance Seattle’s pass rush, it’s a loss for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys drafted Lawrence in the second round of the 2014 Draft and has been a solid part of their defense ever since.
Last season, Lawrence suffered a foot injury that limited him to just four games. In 2023, he finished the season with 50 total tackles and four sacks.
