On Monday it was reported that two more lawsuits were expected to be filed against Deshaun Watson and if they go through they will increase to 26. As the various allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct during massage sessions keep increasing, Watson broke his silence during minicamp.

“I do understand that I do have regrets as far as the impact that [it’s had] on the community and people outside of just myself,” Watson said. “And that includes my family. That includes this organization. That includes my teammates in this locker room that have to answer these questions. That includes the fan base of the Cleveland Browns.

That includes males, females, everyone across the world. That’s one thing I do regret is the impact that it’s triggered on so many people. It’s tough to have to deal with. I think that question kind of triggered a lot of people,” Watson said. “Not just women in general but a lot of people in the league from women to males and things like that. What I was saying is, yes, I’ve never assaulted, disrespected or harassed anyone.

Will Watson play at the start of the 2022 NFL season?

According to the latest reports, a grand jury declined to indict Deshaun Watson in March for sexual misconduct clams. The Cleveland Browns quarterback keeps claiming his innocence but he could face two more suits from two different women. If Watson is not cleared to play for the start of the NFL season, they could turn to Baker Mayfield as a second option.
