COWBOYS
Do the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders travel to away games?
The Dallas Cowboys’ first game of the season is an away game in Cleveland. Will we see the famous Cowboys cheerleaders?
The Dallas Cowboys kick off the regular season in Cleveland, Ohio when they face the Browns. The Cowboys fan-base is one of the best-traveled in the league, with fans often matching those of the opposing team and sometimes even outnumbering them. However, some of the other home-game fixtures we’re used to seeing won’t be present at the away games.
No Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders at away games
NFL cheerleaders do not typically travel to away games with the team to perform. There are some exceptions, like the Super Bowl and overseas games, when the cheerleaders do travel with the team.
The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders attend every single home game, but do not attend the away games. On weeks when the Cowboys play on the road, the cheerleaders often attend other events. Considering how much of a time commitment it already is to be a member of the DCC, this is probably for the best.
It is a shame for those attending the away games though, as they won’t have the chance to see the famous Cowboys cheerleaders perform. So, if you’re in Cleveland on Sunday, September 8 for the Cowboys vs Browns season opener, you’ll have to wait one more week to see the new 2024 DCC squad. This time, you’ll have to be the cheerleaders yourselves!
