In a game that the Dolphins are highly favored to win, the outcome could actually be significantly affected by who’s not on the field rather than who is. With injuries on both sides of the divide, we could be in for a clash that’s more about grit than it is about glamor.

Dolphins - Jets: What to know

The big question out of Miami coming into this game is whether or not rookie running back De’Von Achane will be in the lineup on Friday evening. To be clear, the Dolphins have been preparing as though he won’t having been officially listed as questionable. What’s more is that the team also activated Darrynton Evans from the practice squad which would seem to suggest he will be used against the Jets. The third-round pick in 2020 has seen time previously with both the Titans and Bears, the latter with whom he registered 105 yards on 30 carries. If there is good news, it’s that there are no players officially listed as out, though several are questionable and a handful doubtful.

Where the Jets are concerned, they - like the Dolphins - have no players listed as out, however, DB Michael Carter II is doubtful with a hamstring issue. What the Jets do have unfortunately is a few players listed as questionable and in there defensive department which is not good to say the least. This after all is a team that has been misfiring offensively, an issue that is now compounded by the fact that quarterback Zach Wilson has been benched in favor of Tim Boyle a signal caller who is 0-3 when starting. With that we offer you a look at the full injury report for both teams below:
