Estados Unidos Update:

Josh Allen reminded NFL fans why he’s considered one of the league’s elite quarterbacks, engineering a jaw-dropping fourth-quarter comeback to lift the Buffalo Bills over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.

With 215 passing yards and two rushing touchdowns in the final quarter alone, Allen didn’t just win the game—he made history, surpassing Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas to become the franchise’s all-time leader in rushing touchdowns with 67.

Still, not everyone’s sold on Allen... enter Draymond Green

Despite Allen’s heroics, NBA star Draymond Green isn’t buying the hype. The four-time champion with the Golden State Warriors took aim at Allen during his podcast, Why is Draymond Green Talking About Football?, questioning whether the Bills QB has what it takes when the stakes are highest.

Josh Allen is a very good quarterback,” Green said. “But being very good doesn’t make you the guy. He’s never going to get it done when it matters most. I don’t care how heroic your comeback was at home in Week 1. He’s not the guy who’s going to win a championship and be ‘the man’ when it counts. He’s just not.”

Allen’s performance against Baltimore wasn’t just clutch—it was historic. His two rushing touchdowns not only sealed the win but also etched his name atop the Bills’ record books. And yet, the shadow of postseason disappointment continues to loom over Buffalo.

The Super Bowl drought: 32 years and counting

The Bills haven’t played in a Super Bowl since the 1993 season, when they capped off a remarkable but heartbreaking run of four straight AFC titles—only to lose all four times in the big game. Since then, Buffalo has flirted with greatness but fallen short. In both 2020 and 2024, they reached the AFC Championship Game, only to be eliminated by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the 2020 matchup, the Bills were outplayed from start to finish. But in 2024, they kept it close until the final quarter, when Harrison Butker nailed a 35-yard field goal to seal the win for Kansas City.

What’s next for Allen and the Bills?

With Super Bowl LX on the horizon, the pressure is mounting. Allen has proven he can deliver jaw-dropping moments—but can he silence critics like Draymond Green and finally lead Buffalo to the promised land?
