Afer the game it was nothing but love from the Kelce brothers as big bro finally got his first win over little bro. Will this be the last time we see them on the field together? Or is there another match up waiting for us in February?

It was a cold, rainy night in Kansas City which limited the amount of big plays from both Hurts and Mahomes, but the reigning MVP put this deep ball in the palms of Marquez Valdes-Scantling but the ball popped out of his hands and the team with more drops than any other team in the league saw their opportunity to win this game slip through the hands of their No. 11. 

The internationally famous tush push was a sure shot for Hurts and the Eagles after the big play from Smith as the Eagles took the lead for the first time on the night. They would have a late scare, but the defense would just barley hold on in the final minutes. 

The Eagles offense finally got a big play when Jalen Hurts found D'Vonte Smith on this 41 yard dime down the right sideline to bring the Eagles to the 1 yard line and set up the tush push. Just before this pass, Smith made a catch on 3rd down that extended the drive and kept the Chiefs offense of the field with under 7:00 to go. 

The Chiefs were in the red zone, looking to add to their lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but Travis Kelce fumbled the ball and Nicholas Morrow recovered it as the Chiefs gave it up in the redzone for a second time. The Eagles D held the Chiefs to: punt, punt, fumble, punt and a turnover on downs to end the game.

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles waited for their time to strike, and were allowed to do so thanks to a dominant defensive performance in the second half. A 35 yard burst up the field from D'Andre Swift set up this 10 yard Jalen Hurts TD on 3rd and 5. Hurts only had 124 yards passing, and was sacked 5 times, but the run game and the defense led the way for the league's best team... And yes, we can now say that after tonight's win in KC.

The Chiefs looked like they were going to take control of the game at the end of the first quarter. Mahomes found his favorite target, Travis Kelce in the endzone on this 4 yard TD pass. The Chiefs defense forced the Eagles to a three and out on the next possession and which allowed Mahomes to set up a 43 yard Harrison Butker field goal to put KC up 10 going into halftime. 

The Eagles would punch back, picking off Patrick Mahomes in the endzone on a throw we don't usually see the reigning MVP make. He had his receiver open in the back of the endzone but he lofted it up for Watson and Kevin Byard swooped underneath to make a great catch for the red zone pick. That would be one of two costly red zone turnovers for the Chiefs on Monday night. 

The Chiefs defense has been their back bone all season long, and they drew first blood with this L'Jariaus Sneed interception as Jalen Hurts tried to find AJ Brown on the in route. 

Philly did the same thing to set up their touchdown drive as D'Andre Swift carried the Eagles down field and he tied the game at 7-7 with his 4 yard run at the end of the opening quarter. We came in expecting to see a showdown between two gun slingers but it was the running game that dominated on Monday night in Aarowhead. 

Smith went for 76 yards on 12 carries and the Eagles had a total of 114 yards on the ground. 

Isiah Pacheco had 89 yards on 19 carries as the Chiefs went for 168 yards on the ground. 

Both the Eagles and the Chiefs came into this Super Bowl rematch on the heels of Week 10 BYEs and went blow for blow for the majority of the first half. KC started the game with a three and out and the PHI went three and out on their first drive. Patrick Mahomes put the first points on the board after the Chiefs rode Isiah Pacheco down the field setting up this wide open three yard TD pass to Justin Watson in the back of the end zone.

A false start  pushes KC back 5 yards, and after the penalty Mahomes rolled right and got tripped up letting the pass go to McKinnon but the shot throw falls incomplete.

Just when it seems like nothing is working on the passing end, Mahomes loops one into the bread basket of Watson on a pass off his back foot.

The Eagles force the second Chiefs turnover in the redzone with this Kelce fumble, but PHI went three and out on the ensuing drive. The D needs a little help from the offense tonight. 

Hurts scrambles to the left side but is stopped after a gain of 5 and the Chiefs defense responds with a three and out after the red zone fumble.

Pass to the flat this time for Jones on the right side and he is stopped for no gain.

Dangerous throw to the flat for Smith and Sneed blew that up and popped it out of the WR's hands. That could have been picked after the ball looped up in the air.

It's a cold and rainy night in KC, which means we haven't seen the gun slingers dual we thought we might. Mahomes hits Kelce for the TD, and would set up a late field goal to put the Chiefs up 10 going into the halftime break. 

Mahomes has 78 yards and 2 TDs with 1 INT on 10/16 passing while Hurts is 5/7 for just 46 yards and one INT. 

Swift has 47 yards on 8 carries, while Pacheco tallied 66 yards and a TD on 12 carries. 

This scoreline could be a lot worse, but luckily for PHI Kevin Byard picked off Mahomes in the endzone as the Eagles defense responded to the KC pick. 

The KC defense drew first blood picking off Hurts thanks to a fantastic read from Sneed who jumped the route and made the diving catch. 

Swift and the Eagles answered right back with a drive primarily based around the ground game. It was Swift who took it in from 4 yards out to knot up the game at 7-7 after a three and out on PHI's first drive. 

After going three and out on their first possession the Chiefs let Pacheco take them down the field and Mahomes finished off the drive with a 3 yard pass to Watson in the back of the endzone. 

WE ARE HEADED TO HALFTIME!!!

Both of these teams went blow for blow, going three and out, TD, and INT in the first half, but the Chiefs took control late in that second quarter. 

FIELD GOAL!!!

The Chiefs D get the ball back and Mahomes sets up a 43 yard field goal that Butker bangs through. 

KC take a 17-7 lead into the halftime break. 

McKinnon makes the catch for a short gain of 4 yards and is tackled in bounds and he is able to clock it with 2 seconds on the clock.

KC go up to down the ball and stop the clock, but PHI was slow to get back and get called for an encroachment.

Hurts was looking for AJ Brown, but Sneed snuck in and made a diving interception! He got up and tried to run when Brown ripped the ball out of his hands and made the fumble recovery, but the play was called downed after the INT from Sneed. 

The play is under review to see if Brown touched the defender before he got up and was stripped. 

Gainwell gets stuffed at the line for no gain on the first down run that went right into the arms of Gay.

Tonight's odds

The both teams have had a week to prepare for tonight, and the Chiefs come into this Monday Night Super Bowl rematch as a 2.5 favorites with the Over/Under at 46. 

Give Mahomes and the Chiefs a week to prepare for a game at home on Monday Night under the lights? I have a tough time going against that. I think it will be a big defensive play down the stretch that wins this game. 

I'm taking the Chiefs to win 31-24.

As if we couldn’t get enough of the Kelce brothers, they will be featured tonight in another Brother Bowl from KC. It’s been a long road for the kids from Westlake Ohio. Both were Super Bowl Champs before the start of last year, but their podcast took them to another stardom, and now they are every where you look. Jason was named one of the sexiest men in the world, while Travis is dating the biggest pop star in the world. 

Taylor Swift is not in KC

It’s become the show outside the show this year in the NFL. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance has taken the world by storm and Swift gets more air time then some star players during Chiefs broadcasts. Swifties will already know this, but if you aren’t as up to date with the the whereabouts of Kelce’s main squeeze you may not know that she is on tour right now, and will not be making it to tonight’s massive Monday Night game. Travis Kelce, however, was spotted in talking a trip down south to watch her concert in the Argentina during the Chiefs BYE week. 

Super Bowl recap

Philly and KC were the top teams in their conference last year, and completed their playoff run with a trip to the Super Bowl, and what a show they gave us. It was one of the best title games we had ever seen, filled with points, big plays, turnovers for TDs, punt returns and a late game winner. Jalen Hurts had an iconic performance in a losing effort, passing for 304 yards and three TDs, and running for another three TDs on 15 carries he took for 70 yards. Patrick Mahomes came into the game on a bummed ankle and injured it again early In the game, but gutted it out and led his team downfield on the final drive. A 26 yard scramble on his reinjured ankle put KC in field position and a late holding flag on a third down shot to the end zone with 1:54 to go allowed the Chiefs to run the clock down and take a FG with 8 seconds left. Mahomes was named MVP after 182 yards and three TDs. 

Hurts yet to hit full stride?

Last year the Eagles QB exploded on to the scene, and had a near MVP season. If it wasn’t for Patrick Mahomes, he probably would have won it after passing for 3,701 yards, 22 TDs and just 6 INTs while running for another 13 TDs (most of which coming off the tush push). This year he right around that pace with 2,347 yards, and 15 TDs but he has thrown 8 INTs in the 9 games that the Eagles have played. He also has 7 TDs on the ground. These aren’t bad numbers for a QB whose offense is still trying to work things out under new offensive coordinator, Brian Johnson. Tonight he is going up against the much improved Chiefs defense who just kept Tua Tagovailoa quiet in their game in Germany. 

The MVP is back for more

The reigning Super Bow champion and NFL MVP comes into tonight coming off of a BYE week, but in the last couple of games, and really for the majority of this year he hasn’t looked as dominant as we are used to. It’s hard to blame the KC QB, who has had to deal with a complete revamping of the offense, and a new scheme under first year offensive coordinator Matt Nagy. He has had to make it work, this year more than any other. So far so good. Mahomes numbers aren’t as eye popping as we might be used to, he is 9th in total yards (2,442) and tied for 5th in TD passes (17), but he has the fortune of having weapons he’s never had before. Isaiah Pacheco is a big addition to the backfield and the Chiefs defense is better than it ever has been in the Patrick Mahomes era.

Eagles last game

The Eagles faced their toughest test up until tonight in their last game before their Week 10 BYE, taking on a Cowboys team that was rolling past opponents. Hurts shook off an early knee injury to down the Cowboys in the final moments of the game. The NFC East rivals went blow for blow, exchanging leads until Philly took control in the third quarter. Dak Prescott threw for almost 400 yards and Ceedee Lamb had 191 yards against an Eagles defense that is still looking to recover their form from last year’s Super Bow run. Jalen Hurts may not have had the numbers, but he was about as efficient as it gets going 17/23 for 209 yards and two third quarter TDs that helped Philly stretch their lead to 28-17. Dallas fought back, when Prescott’s 4th quarter TD pass to Jalen Tolbert cut the Eagles lead to five points. Dallas was driving down the field again, looking to take a late lead, but Ceedee Lamb came up just a couple yards short of the end zone on the final play of the game and the Eagles held on to win. 

Chiefs last game

The Chiefs defense was on display in Frankfurt two weeks ago. They held the explosive Dolphins offense scoreless in the first half, while Patrick Mahomes dished two TD passes. The first touchdown came on the first possession of the game, when Mahomes hit rookie Rashee Rice on an 11 yard strike in the opening three minutes of the game. Pahomes doubled the lead with a 17 yard pass to Jerk McKinnon, but the Chiefs took full command of the game when Bryan Cook scooped and scored a Dolphins fumble for a touchdown to take a 21-0 lead into halftime. Miami made an effort at a comeback with a Tua TD pass, forced a fumble and a Rahemm Mostert TD run all in the fourth quarter, but KC’s defense held strong in the fourth quarter and the Chiefs held on to win their seventh in nine games.

Hello everyone and welcome to Kansas City where the Chiefs are coming off of their Week 10 BYE as the top team in the AFC despite their “struggles” on the offensive end. KC had a week off after their win over the Miami Dolphins a couple weeks ago and are looking to kick off the final stretch of the season with a statement win over the Philadelphia Eagles who are also coming off of their Week 10 BYE. Philly has rattled off three wins since their loss to the Jets in Week 6 and have reestablished themselves as the Super Bowl favorite in the NFC. One of these two teams will take a big step towards the one seed in their conference tonight from Arrowhead. 

Eagles vs. Chiefs  

Monday Night Football serves us up the game of the regular season to wrap up Week 11 from Kansas City. It’s a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl, and a heavyweight battle between the top two teams in their respective conference.
