Fantasy Football top scorers by position: NFL 2024 Week 12
Week 12 of the NFL was absolutely wild, filled with upsets, shocking performances, and another insane showing by Eagles RB Saquon Barkley.
There were a lot of unexpected outcomes in Week 12 of the NFL, but one thing remained constant and that was the performance of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley makes the New York Giants regret letting him go every single week and this one was no different.
Barkley was Week 12’s top fantasy scorer overall. Let’s take a look at who the top scorers were at each position.

Fantasy Week 12 top scorers - Quarterbacks
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels led his position in scoring for Week 12 of fantasy football with a total of 30.40 points. Although the Commanders were upset by the Dallas Cowboys, Daniels' late-game performance jolted him to the top. He finished the game 25-of-38 got 275 yard, threw for two touchdowns and two interceptions, and had one 17-yard rushing touchdown plus a 2-point conversion.

Fantasy Week 12 top scorers - Running Backs
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had a monster game, leading all the backs in fantasy scoring with a whopping 46.20 points. In the Eagles' win over the Los Angeles Rams, Barkley had 26 carries for 255 yards and two touchdowns, adding four receptions for 47 yards on top of that. In doing so, he set both a personal and franchise record for most rushing yards in a single game.

Fantasy Week 12 top scorers - Wide Receivers
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was a fresh face at the leader of the fantasy scoreboard in Week 12 with 30.20 points, leading all other WRs. The Vikings squeaked out an overtime win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday and Addison contributed eight receptions on nine targets for 162 yards, and a touchdown. Two of those receptions were for 69 and 45 yards. His receptions and yardage were career-highs.

Fantasy Week 12 top scorers - Tight Ends
Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride led his position in fantasy scoring in Week 12 with 25.30 points. The Cardinals had a terrible game, losing 16-6 to the Seattle Seahawks, but McBride was the one light in the dark. He had 12 catches on 15 targets for 133 yards, but no touchdowns (he still has yet to make one this season). This was his second 100-yard game in 10 appearances this season.

Denver Broncos kicker Will Lutz led in fantasy scoring amongst the kickers in Week 12 with 21 points. In the Broncos' 29-19 win over rivals Las Vegas Raiders, Lutz made all five of his field goal attempts plus both extra point attempts, accounting for 17 of Denver’s 29 points.

Shockingly, the Dallas Cowboys led in defensive scoring for Week 12 of fantasy with 22 points. The Cowboys upset the Commanders, but they also gave up 26 points and 412 yards of offense. The reason they ended up scoring so well in fantasy, however, was due to the four sacks on Jayden Daniels, their three takeaways, and two kickoff returns for touchdowns.
