Following a shooting this is what we know about San Francisco 49ers Ricky Pearsall’s status
There appears to be good news in the Bay Area after the franchise confirmed that its rookie wide receiver had been released from hospital after being shot.
In the wake of the terrible situation that unfolded over this past weekend, the San Francisco 49ers have now given comment on the health status of their rookie wide receiver who was previously described as being in “stable but serious condition.”
49ers state that Ricky Pearsall has been released from the hospital
If you caught our previous report, you will know that San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was shot in the chest on Saturday during what appears to have been a robbery gone wrong. Needless to say, there was considerable concern surrounding the rookie’s status, however, worries have now been put to rest after the 49ers announced that Pearsall has since been released from hospital.
“San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was released from the hospital this afternoon as he continues to recover from a bullet wound in his chest,” the team statement said. “He and his family, along with the entire San Francisco 49ers organization, would like to thank the San Francisco Police Department, emergency medical services, doctors and staff at San Francisco General Hospital.”
This is understandably a very positive turn in what looked to be a tragic story and comes not long after Pearsall’s mother posted on Facebook where she disclosed that the bullet had missed her son’s vital organs and that Pearsall was in “good spirits.” To that end, fans, friends, and family can now rest a little easier knowing that the 23-year-old is on the road to recovery.
