“True story ....... In 2011 I played completely s--- faced drunk in at least 8 games,” Jammer posted to X on Monday. Jammer went on to detail that he was dealing with a handful of personal issues that led to his alcohol fueled season that he played while going through a divorce.

Jammer reminded his followers that despite the fame and fortune of the NFL, football players are people who go through everyday struggles just like everyone else. “U know why n---as kill themselves? But go ahead bash me for being vulnerable. I ain’t dead n---a!!”
Personal issues took hold of Jammer
Afer being voted unanimously to the All-American team at the University of Texas, Jammer was drafted by the Chargers with he 5th pick of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played 14 games with the Chargers that year and while he finished the season with 67 tackles and 10 pass deflections, he didn’t register an interception in his debut in the NFL.
