Update:

Is there a hotter ticket in all of sport than a seat at the Super Bowl? A few lucky fans could get entry for this season’s championship game for absolutely nothing.

The cheapest tickets for Super Bowl LIX earlier this year were changing hands for around $3,000, with the average price of a ticket sold on StubHub going for $8,076. Those sort of prices have made attending a Super Bowl an unattainable dream for the vast majority of football fans.

Fortunately, a few lucky supporters will get the chance to go to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California for Super Bowl LX, courtesy of a new promotion from Claire Kittle, the wife of San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle.

In an appearance on Kay Adams’ Up & Adams show this week, Claire Kittle announced the beginning of a new competition ran by vodka brand Smirnoff.

Fans are invited to head over to Smirnoff’s Instagram page from December 15 onward for Super Bowl LX sweepstakes and giveaways. The competition will include free trips to Santa Clara for the upcoming Super Bowl, with the 9-4 49ers still in contention for another postseason run.

Speaking earlier this month, Smirnoff’s North America brand leader Jennifer Holiday explained the NFL brand-building efforts: “As NFL fandom evolves so does our NFL strategy, which this season included remixing our We Do Game Days platform to extend beyond the field and into the core of fan culture."

Super Bowl will serve as the culmination of this with a fashion-meets-sports experience in San Francisco that reflects all the things we know fans love about game days – the sidelines stories, behind-the-scenes moments, low-lift connects with friends, and of course the game day ‘fits‘."
