Good influence: Joe Burrow gives young Bengals fan his autograph on one condition
QB Burrow shared a heartwarming moment with a young Bengals fan before their Week 17 win over the Cardinals.
The Cincinnati Bengals’ hopes of reaching the 2025 postseason ended several weeks ago, making their recent upturn in form largely symbolic. Zac Taylor’s team put in a fine display in their Week 17 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, posting a convincing 37-14 win to take their overall record to 6-10. Star quarterback Joe Burrow shone with 305 yards and two touchdowns, though he also caught attention for a heartwarming moment before kickoff.
A fan moment to remember
Shortly before the game, the Bengals shared a video on social media of Burrow interacting with a young fan desperate for his attention.
“Joe! Please, I’ll do anything!” pleaded the youth, hoping to get a prized piece of merchandise signed.
Burrow obliged, but with one condition: “Alright, but you gotta get all As this semester in school.”
“Report card about to go crazy,” the Bengals’ social media team added alongside the clip. Perhaps we’ll find out how the young fan did when the 2026 NFL season kicks off in September.
Bengals finish strong, but season falls short
Burrow and his Cincinnati teammates certainly earned high marks for their Week 17 performance, taking apart the Cardinals for a second straight win. Still, their overall season will likely earn no better than an E or an F, ending prematurely despite flashes of brilliance.
Let’s hope their young fan fares far better in school.
