Has a team ever been shut out in a Super Bowl?
It is a nightmare scenario: reaching the Super Bowl, only to come away without a single point. Through much of Super Bowl LX, the New England Patriots were in danger of that fate against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks shut out the Patriots through the majority of Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium with the Seahawks defense causing all sorts of problems for Drake Maye, the Patriots quarterback.
That all changed at the start of the fourth quarter, when Maye found Hollins with a 35 yard pass out to the left.
Patriots are on the board following a 35-yard Mack Hollins score with 12:27 to go.

Has there ever been a shutout in the Super Bowl?
So far, there has never been a Super Bowl shutout in NFL history. Two teams have though come very close. The Miami Dolphins were held to just a field goal in a 24–3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl VI, while the Los Angeles Rams managed only three points in their 13–3 defeat to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII, the lowest-scoring Super Bowl on record.
Eagles thought they might shut out the Chiefs last year
The Eagles shut out the Kansas City Chiefs through the majority of Super Bowl LIX, all the way into the third quarter of the game, with a score of 34-0. However Patrick Mahomes made a touchdown pass to Xavier Worthy to put six points on the board.
Incredibly the Chiefs then scored 16 points in the fourth quarter to make the scoreline a somewhat more respectable 40-22.

Biggest blowout in Super Bowl history
The Chiefs thought they’d be making history as the first team in NFL history to ever win three Super bowls in a row. That was their third trip to the Super Bowl in as many years.
But through nearly three full quarters, the Eagles defense stopped quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense from getting anywhere, putting up five sacks and notching two interceptions on him.
