How many Super Bowl rings does Bill Belichick have?

The Patriots coach’s future seems far away from New England due to the team’s bad season, as they have only won three games so far.

Things don’t look good for Bill Belichick at the Patriots. According to several media, the Nashville native won’t continue taking the reigns of the team next season due to the Patriots’ bad results.

New England aren’t having the best of their seasons, as they are sitting bottom in the AFC East division, with only three wins and 10 losses, which makes them one of the worst teams in the league this term.

Belichick, who has been in charge of the team for 24 seasons, was asked multiple times about his future in New England, and if he had talks with team owner Robert Kraft.

I’m getting ready for Kansas City,” he said when asked about his future.

If the 71-year-old Patriots legend ends up leaving New England, it will have a huge impact not only on the team but also on the whole NFL, as he has become an icon in the league and Boston.

Belichick, Mr. Super Bowl

Despite the team’s poor performances so far this term, it’s undeniable that Belichick is an NFL and a Patriots legend.

Belichick has won more rings than anyone in the sport. He won six with the Patriots as their head coach, and that’s probably his most known accomplishment, but that’s not all.

He won two more rings earlier than that when he was the defensive coordinator with the New York Giants, which makes a total of eight Super Bowl championships.

Belichick’s first triumph with the Patriots came in 2001, as the team defeated the favorites St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI, which opened a victorious era for Belichick and his players.

After that, he led the Patriots to three more Super Bowl victories, winning the Lombardi Trophy in 2003, 2004, and 2014.

However, one of the most memorable Super Bowl games took place in 2017, when the Patriots took on the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

Trailing by a 28-3 deficit in the third quarter, New England registered a comeback for the ages to win the game in overtime.

Two years later, the team faced the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII, where they proved too strong for the Los Angeles Rams and his sixth and final ring with the Patriots.
