How Mike Vrabel rebuilt the Patriots faster than anyone expected
The New England Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since the Tom Brady era, and head coach Mike Vrabel accomplished it in just one year.

A new era in New England
Vrabel, who famously won three Super Bowls as a player with the Patriots, brought a mix of discipline, innovation, and player trust to a team that needed a fresh identity. His approach was to build a team that could win in all three phases -offense, defense, and special teams - without having to rely on individual players to be the stars.

Under Vrabel, the Patriots became a model of consistency. They were among the league leaders on third-down defense, stifling opponents in critical situations. Their defense was also clutch in the red zone, turning potential touchdowns into field goals or stops. Plus, they controlled the clock, sustaining long drives that kept opposing offenses off the field.
