The Dallas Cowboys are preparing for another NFL season, where they will try to win their sixth Super Bowl Championship.

Jerry Jones’ team had a good campaign in 2023, winning the NFC East and getting the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. Although Dallas hasn’t won a ring since the 90′s and has accumulated a series of postseason disappointments in recent times, they will once again be considered one of the candidates to reign supreme.

Despite not clinching gold on the pitch for a long time, the Cowboys continue to dominate off the field, being the most valuable franchise.

The Cowboys, unbeatable for a third consecutive year

Year after year, since 1998, the prestigious financial magazine Forbes has been responsible for publishing a list of NFL franchises according to their value. The Dallas Cowboys have often been on top of it. And 2024 is no exception.

The franchise became the first with a value of over $10 billion. The first Forbes NFL list had the Cowboys with a value of just 413 million dollars.

More franchises will likely reach the Cowboys value in the coming seasons due to the NFL growth of the NFL. The teams that are the closest to getting Dallas’ numbers are the Los Angeles Rams (7.6 billion), the New England Patriots (7.4) and the New York Giants (7.3).

The Chiefs, far from the Cowboys

Despite winning two consecutive Super Bowls and three of the last five, the Kansas City Chiefs are not among the most valuable franchises in the NFL.

The Hunt family has owned the Chiefs since Lamar founded the Dallas Texans in 1960. However, the franchise’s worth is estimated at $4.85 billion, less than half the value of the Cowboys.

If the Cowboys are the most valuable franchise, the Cincinnati Bengals are at the bottom of the Forbes list. The AFC North team, owned by Michael Brown thanks to his legendary father Paul Brown, is worth $4.1 billion.
