With the Giants back in the Divisional Round of the playoffs for the first time since the 2011 season when they won the Super Bowl, one can imagine that excitement is at an all-time high. Fortunately for fans, ticket prices to see them take on the Philadelphia Eagles, aren’t.

Giants to face Eagles for 3rd time this season

The Giants and their fans will be hoping it can be a case of third time’s a charm, when they visit Philadelphia’s Lincoln Field on Saturday night. There, they will face an Eagles team that has beaten them twice for the season already including a 48-22 mauling as recently as December. The good news for the Giants, is that the Eagles’ starting QB, Jalen Hurts, continues to struggle with a right shoulder injury, meaning one of the main candidates for the MVP Award this year won’t be at his best.

That’s not to say the Giants don’t have weapons of their own such as Saquon Barkley. Arguably the best running back in the league right now, Barkley has been unreal this season. Just ask the Minnesota Vikings, who he decimated in the Wild Card Round with 109 yards from scrimmage, to go with two touchdowns. Yet, it’s got to be said, the Eagles are the No. 1 seed and for good reason. Indeed, Philly boasts a better defense than the Giants and then there is the sensational DeVonta Smith. In the last six games, Philly’s wideout has had a minimum of five receptions and 60 receiving yards, which if you didn’t know, is the longest streak in franchise history since the 1950 season.

What about ticket prices for Giants vs Eagles?

In all fairness, ticket prices for the game aren’t actually so bad, if you consider the fact that this is a Divisional Round game in the NFL PLayoffs. According to StubHub the cheapest tickets for the Giants vs Eagles game will run you about $250, while the average ticket price is approximately $280. If you’d like to spend a little more - actually a lot more - there are tickets selling for as much as $4,000. Yet, that’s low in comparison to what it will cost you to watch the Cowboys vs 49ers game, which saw the lowest entry prices starting at around $525. This is all to say, if you’d like to be in the stadium to see your team play this weekend, it’s going to cost you.
