Who is Harrison Butker?
To be frank, Harrison Butker was always going to be a star in the NFL. Born on July 14th, 1995, in Decatur, Georgia, the young placekicker attended Georgia Tech where it didn’t take long for his kicking skills with the Yellow Jackets to draw attention. Indeed, Butker quickly became one of the nation’s best kickers, even setting a school record in 2016 for the longest field goal at 53 yards. In 2017, he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the seventh round of the NFL Draft and since that time, has established himself as one of the league’s most accurate kickers.
Now 28 years old, Butker continues to shine for the Chiefs and will be hoping to do that once more when they face the 49ers on Sunday in Super Bowl LVIII. Interestingly, Butker is also known for the extensive amount of charitable work that he does off of the field. His philanthropic efforts have included supporting children’s hospitals as well as several charitable causes, something that his wife, Isabelle Butker, also participates in consistently.
