Update:

The Falcons head to Tampa Bay for their Thursday Night Football matchup with the Bucs. In some ways, it will be a case of going through the motions for Raheem Morris’ men, who are already out of the running to make it to the postseason. Atlanta have lost their last two games and have only won twice on the road this season.

Drake won’t be risked

On top of that, they could be without star receiver Drake London, who has missed the past three games with a knee injury. London picked up a PCL sprain during the 30-27 home defeat to the Carolina Panthers on November 16.

Morris gave an update on his situation earlier this week. “He’s out of practice but he’s still in a day-to-day format so we’ll check him out, he’ll do some running stuff with our people on the side but he won;t be doing practice. Everything that we’re gonna do with Drake is definitely take care of Drake, make sure he’s good. We won’t put him in harm’s way by any means, and when he’s ready to go, he’ll be out there at a very high level".

London did not take part in full practice on Monday or Tuesday and was the only non-participant ahead of Thursday’s game. His game status has not been specified.

London is the leader for Atlanta’s offense this year with 60 receptions for 810 yards and six touchdowns. Apart from sitting out recent games against the Saints, Jets and Seahawks with his knee injury, he has only missed one other game this season - the Week 8 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Elsewhere, seven players were limited on Tuesday: WR KhaDarel Hodge (shoulder), TE Kyle Pitts (knee), ER Jalon Walker (quad), CB A.J. Terrell (neck), DE Brandon Dorlus (groin), RG Chris Lindstrom (foot) and DL David Onyemata (foot) while Linebacker Kaden Elliss (elbow) returned as a full participant on Monday.
