Is Tyreek Hill playing for the Dolphins against the Rams on Monday Night Football?
Wide receiver Hill has played in all eight of Miami’s NFL games this season but has been dealing with fitness issues in recent days.
The Miami Dolphins visit the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football in week 10, desperate to put an end to their recent losing streak. The will got a big pregame boost when star wide receiver Tyeek Hill was given the green light to suit up in tonight’s primetime matchup.
Mike McDaniel’s team currently find themselves bottom of AFC East with a 2-6 record, with three consecutive defeats allowing both the New York Jets and New England Patriots to leapfrog them in the standings.
However, the Dolphins’ last two losses, to the Arizona Cardinals and the Buffalo Bills, were by one and three points respectively, which offers hope they aren’t too far away from turning things back around.
Hill was a game-time decision
Hill has played in all eight of Miami’s NFL games so far this season and continues to be one of their key performers. However, he has recorded just one touchdown in those eight games, having made 34 catches for 446 yards.
The 30-year-old suffered a wrist problem this week, which caused him to miss practice on Friday and Saturday. McDaniel told the media the Dolphins were “just trying to get him to game day” and declared himself “optimistic” Hill would do “everything he can” to play.
“We’ll see,” was very much the message conveyed, although Hill’s “it’s about to go down” comment in a Snapchat video filmed while on the plane to Los Angeles suggests he expects to play.
