Jaxson Dart injury: Giants quarterback ruled out after concussion
The rookie QB has been a revelation for the New York Giants this season but he has suffered a series of injuries.

The New York Giants had to finish Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears without Jaxson Dart after the rookie quarterback was ruled out with a concussion.
Dart took a heavy hit in the third quarter, forcing him to be taken from the field. He was taken to the blue medical tent to be evaluated and was not fit to return to the field.
At the start of the fourth quarter the 22-year-old walked gingerly towards the locker room, leaving Russell Wilson to replace him. The Bears put up 14 points in the fourth quarter, while the Giants could only manage a single field goal. Chicago ran out 24-20 winners, leaving the Giants at 2-8 on the season.

Dart had impressed during his time on the field, going 19-for-29 on passes and racking up 242 passing yards. He also recorded 66 rushing yards on six carries for two touchdowns.
The health of the young QB will be at the center of the team’s mind in the aftermath of Sunday’s loss. This is the fourth time that Dart has been evaluated for concussion this year, suggesting that team still has work to do to build the necessary environment for a QB to flourish.
