The Cleveland Browns offense suffered a hard blow after Nick Chubb, the great star of Kevin Stefanski’s running attack, suffered a broken knee during Monday Night Football.

Given this, the organization had to react quickly and they did so after reaching an agreement to bring back Kareem Hunt, who created a great duo with Chubb himself in the Browns before being cut.

After meeting with him this week, Cleveland reached a one-year, $4 million deal with the former Kansas City Chiefs running back to fill the void left by Chubb’s injury.

After a season of 468 yards and only three touchdowns, the Browns decided to release Hunt in 2023, especially after fulfilling the player’s own request, who considered that he deserved more money.

Despite this, no league organization came forward to ask about Kareem Hunt’s services, however, Nick Chubb’s injury forced Stefanski’s team to return to the fray to recover the explosive runner.

In his first stint with the Browns, Hunt finished with a total of 1,874 yards and 16 touchdowns in four seasons with the Cleveland team. Despite this, he has never been the protagonist in the team’s running attack, a situation that seems to be repeated since they would give priority to Jerome Ford, who has just surpassed 100 yards in Pittsburgh.
