Update:

ESPN’s Monday Night Football crew is getting a fresh addition this season, and fans are already loving the move. Reporter Katie George, a standout in college football coverage, will join MNF for five games, making her NFL debut during the Week 2 Los Angeles Chargers vs Las Vegas Raiders game.

Who is Katie George?

Known for her polished sideline presence and wide-ranging experience, George has built a strong following since joining ESPN in 2019. She’s covered multiple College Football Playoff games, appeared regularly on NBA broadcasts, and even earned an Emmy for her work on SEC coverage. Now, the former Louisville volleyball star and Miss Kentucky USA is stepping onto one of the biggest stages in sports broadcasting.

NFL fans quickly took to social media to celebrate the news, praising George’s professionalism and charisma. Her resume is stacked - three-time all-conference athlete, ACC Player of the Year, and a top-11 finisher in the Miss USA pageant. And at just 31 years old, she’s still just getting started.

As ESPN looks to elevate its MNF coverage, Katie George’s rising star power could be a game-changer.
