The playoff picture in NFL postseason is slowly becoming defined with two clear, leading favourites.
The race to reach the 2024-2025 NFL postseason remains red-hot, with the top seeded teams starting to be confirmed after the Chiefs secured top spot in the AFC after a Christmas Day win over the Steelers. Some teams have waved goodby to any title dreams with a number of franchises still in with a last minute tilt at post season football.
So far, nine teams that have sealed their ticket to the postseason with two rounds of games to be played over the festive and new year period: Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers are all in the playoff picture.

After the end of Week 16, the leading favorites to bag the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy are already beginning to emerge.
As things stand, the Detroit Lions have taken the top spot in the bookmakers' picks (according to the Draft Kings line), followed by the Kansas City Chiefs, who could achieve a three-peat; and the top 3 is completed by Buffalo Bills, who are having a great end to the regular season.
