Update:

This season, the Manning brothers Peyton and Eli have returned to the commentators booth for their alternate “ManningCast” version of Monday Night Football. The appearance of a curse on the weekly guests would seem to have not fazed many, with a full lineup of players breaking it down with the two most successful of the Manning clan.

Week 1′s Broncos vs Seahawks game featured the two brothers as did Week 3′s Cowboys vs Giants and Week 4′s Rams vs 49ers games. There will be no ManningCast of the Week 6 Broncos vs Chargers showdown, but moving forward, there are seven more games programmed to feature the brothers Manning.

Here is the full season’s ManningCast lineup

  • Week 1: Broncos at Seahawks
  • Week 3: Cowboys at Giants
  • Week 4: Rams at 49ers
  • Week 7: Bears at Patriots
  • Week 8: Bengals at Browns
  • Week 9: Ravens at Saints
  • Week 13: Saints at Buccaneers
  • Week 14: Patriots at Cardinals
  • Week 15: Rams at Packers
  • Wild Card Weekend: TBA Monday night game

All “ManningCast” games will be broadcast on ESPN2, and four of them will also appear on ESPN+. Subscribe to fuboTV (try for free) for streaming access to ESPN throughout the season.

As long as the broadcast remains popular, it would seem that ESPN is happy to bring it back. They have initially signed a three-year deal which will see the Mannings offer their insight to fans through the 2023 season as well.
