ManningCast week 12: Who will be the guests for Ravens at Chargers?

The 2024 NFL Week 12 action concludes in Los Angeles tonight with a matchup between two sides immersed in the playoffs battle. The Ravens (7-4) are guests of the Chargers (7-3) at SoFi Stadium - neck and neck in the AL standings, fourth meets fifth in what promises to be a thrilling contest.

And bringing their keen-eyed insight, astute commentary, analysis, breakdown of tactics and strategy of the game will be the Manning brothers, Peyton and special guests.

Joining them in tonight’s live broadcast will be three special guests: two of the Wilson brothers - Frat Pack actors Luke and Owen along with Cleveland Browns coaching and personnel consultant, and three-time Super Bowl champion, Mike Vrabel.

Luke and Owen starred along their elder brother Andrew in Wes Anderson’s crime-comedy Bottle Rocket (1996). Luke appeared in Best Men (1998) opposite Drew Barrymore, and alongside Uma Thurman My Super Ex-Girlfriend. He played Duncan in Apple TV’s Fingernails in 2023.

Owen, who is three years older, is a screenwriter, producer and actor. Nominated for Academy and BAFTA awards in 2002 for The Royal Tenenbaums which he co-wrote with Wes Anderson. Other projects included Disney’s Haunted Mansion and Season 2 of Loki.

Vrabel is a former former linebacker who was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round (91st overall) of the 1997 Draft. He spent four seasons in Pennsylvania, joining Bill Belichick’s Pats as a free agent in 2001.

He was selected for the 2008 Pro Bowl and other claim to fame is that he is the first player to to have two touchdown catches and a sack in the same game. He won three Super Bowl rings (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX) before leaving after eight season in New England, to see out his playing days with the Chiefs.

As a Linebackers coach, he worked at Ohio State and the Houston Texans before taking on the head coach role with the Tennessee Titans in 2018. He was named NFL Coach of the Year in 2021.

Mike has been with the Brown since March of this year.

Bill Belichick to feature in all 11 episodes

At the start of this month, the brothers announced the full schedule for the 2024 NFL season with a 10-minute video titled “ManningCast: The Musical”, which featured sports stars and celebrities such as Bob Iger, Archie Manning, Jimmy Kimmel, Snoop Dogg, Olivia Dunne, Andy Reid and Pete Davidson. In the video, the Manning brothers state their desire to win a Tony Award before breaking out into a theatrical Broadway performance.

The Manning brothers have signed up for 10 regular season episodes of the ManningCast, including the double header with the Ravens at Buccaneers and Chargers at Cardinals in Week 7 on 21 October. Peyton and Eli will also be providing commentary for a Wild Card game between teams to be determined in January.

Bill Belichick stars in every episode, adding his own expert views along with two other celebrity guests - usually former players and football-loving stars from the entertainment world.

The ManningCast is televised on ESPN2. The primary MNF broadcast will continue to feature Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Lisa Salters on ESPN. Buck and Aikman joined ESPN in 2022 after two decades working at Fox.

The NFL Week 12 game between the Ravens and the Chargers will be played on Monday November 25, with kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT.
