Micah Parsons gives Cowboys fans scare at training camp
The Cowboys held their first padded practice of training camp on Tuesday and star edge rusher Micah Parsons scared all fans when he fell to the ground.
The Dallas Cowboys are in week two of training camp in Oxnard, California and held their first padded practice on Tuesday. As a result, we got to see players like defensive lineman Mazi Smith, running back Royce Freeman, and wide receiver Tyron Billy-Johnson step up and show off some of their talents.
Scary moment Micah Parsons falls to the ground at training camp
With the padded practices comes rougher play as well though and there was one moment that gave every Cowboys fan a scare during Tuesday’s practice. Especially after losing defensive end Sam Williams to a season-ending knee injury last week, they can’t afford any more disasters.
The Cowboys’ star edge rusher Micah Parsons was going up against offensive tackle Chuma Edoga, who shoved his hands just a little too close to Parsons’ face/helmet and knocked him backwards, causing him to fall to the ground.
Parsons stayed on the ground just a few moments longer than was comfortable, but seemed to be able to shake it off and get back up again as we all finally breathed out.
Later in the morning, Edoga himself actually had to step away to be examined.
Cowboys beat reporter for the Dallas Morning News Calvin Watkins posted on X that he was “dealing with a health issue” but we are still waiting on more details.
