Mike Evans injury update: When will the Buccaneers WR be back?
Evans has been sidelined by a hamstring strain sustained during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Week 3 win over the New York Jets.
Wide receiver Mike Evans has become a cause for concern within the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization, as reports indicate he could be sidelined for three to four weeks due to a hamstring strain.
Evans limps out of Jets clash
Evans suffered the injury during the Buccaneers’ 29-27 win over the New York Jets on Sunday - a victory that continued Tampa Bay’s 100% start to the NFL season.
He limped off the field and was ruled out for the remainder of the Week 3 game. Before exiting, Evans recorded four catches for 33 yards and a touchdown.
There’s some optimism surrounding his recovery, however. An MRI revealed a moderate strain, suggesting the injury isn’t as severe as initially feared.
