NFL confirms 2025 salary cap

On Thursday, the NFL and NFL Player’s Association announced their agreement of a $279.2 million salary cap per team for the 2025 season, per NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero. This number is a record high for the NFL.

Just last week, the league projected the salary cap to be somewhere between $277.5 million and $281.5 million, so it looks like that was accurate.

NFL vice president of communications Brian McCarthy said that the total projected player costs, including benefits, are $362.48 million - around $11.5999 billion with all 32 teams combined.
