NFL Honors finalists 2025: MVP, Coach, Comeback, Defensive and Offensive awards
Quarterbacks Matthew Stafford, Drake Maye and Josh Allen are among the finalists for the illustrious NFL MVP award.

The NFL postseason goes to the next level this weekend with the Conference Championships. The Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and LA Rams are battling it out for a place at Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California.
Ahead of the AFC and NFC Championship Games, the NFL announced the finalists for its annual NFL Honors. Among them is the Most Valuable Player category, with five names selected for the final five. Last year’s winner Josh Allen is in the running to retain the award.
Including Allen, four of the five MVP candidates are quarterbacks. LA Rams QB Matthew Stafford is considered the favorite for the award, with Drake Maye also a strong contender. Trevor Lawrence and Christian McCaffrey round out the final five for the MVP award.

The outcomes of the Conference Championship games could significantly influence the NFL Honors voting, which will take place on February 5 in San Francisco. Stafford and Darnold go head-to-head as the Rams take on the Seattle Seahawks, while Maye comes up against the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game.
Stafford is closing in on another Super Bowl with the Rams, having racked up 4,707 yards and 46 touchdowns with only eight interceptions. Maye has put up 4,394 yards and 31 touchdowns in the regular season, ushering the Patriots into a post-Brady era.
