A resounding victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers secured the Houston’s progression from the wild card round.

A breathless NFL Playoff wild card weekend ended on Monday night with an imperious showing from the Houston Texans.
Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a chastening 30-6 loss on home turf, falling at the first postseason hurdle. The Texans defense proved too good for the Steelers and they complete the eight-team lineup in the divisional round.
Here’s a look at the full schedule for the next round of the NFL playoffs...
NFL playoff schedule: Games and dates
- 49ers - Seahawks, January 17
- Bills - Broncos, January 17
- Texans - Patriots, January 18
- Rams - Bears, January 18
When is the Super Bowl?
After next weekend’s games, the winning four teams will advance to the NFL conference championship. Those games will be played on Sunday, January 25.
Following that, the winners in each conference will meet for Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 8. The championship game will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Levi’s Stadium is the regular home of the San Francisco 49ers, who are still in the hunt for a sixth Super Bowl triumph. The 49ers are one of the most successful teams in NFL history but all their championships came in a relatively short spell in the 1980s and 1990s.
The five previous 49ers Super Bowl wins came in 1981, 1984, 1988, 1989 and 1994. After a 30-year wait, San Francisco has the chance to regain the NFL championship on home turf at Levis Stadium.
