Colts fire OC Marcus Brady
"This was an incredibly hard decision, but one I felt needed to be made in the best interest of the team," Colts head coach Frank Reich said in a statement. "I appreciate Marcus's commitment to the organization, and he made a significant contribution to our offensive success over the last five seasons. I wish him the best moving forward."
Seahawks to trade CB Sidney Jones?
Perhaps he could be of interest to the Bengals now that they've potentially lost Chidobe Awuzie for the rest of the season.
The Seahawks defense has been led by rookie Tariq Woolen while Jones has faded into the background a bit. But he's just coming back from an injury and is still young, so he's got potential to be a good steal for another team.
Bills in the market for a new RB
Potential targets include Browns' Kareem Hunt and Commanders' Antonio Gibson.

Rams apparently really trying to bolster their pass rush.

What of Marvin Jones Jr?
The Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. is another player who is likely to be traded before the deadline hits. He's behind several other receivers and the Jags need to look ahead to next year now that they're sitting at 2-6. He would appeal to a team looking for veteran talent at WR.
So many tiny details to keep track of as far as eligibility and waivers...it can be hard to keep up.
If you need a refresher on how the trade deadline actually works, read up on it here.
Lions make a move
But perhaps not the one you expected. The Detroit Lions fired defensive backs coach Aubrey Pleasant on Monday.
The Lions are 1-6 after blowing another big lead and losing their fifth straight game. So, will the Lions be looking to buy or to sell?
Selling could give them more draft picks for 2023, which they need. Then again, which players are other teams going to be interested in buying? Well, there's TE T.J. Hockenson, LT Taylor Decker, and RB D'Andre Swift, who could appeal to other teams. Of course, getting rid of them makes the already 1-6 Lions an even worse team and essentially says, "we give up". Is that the morale Detroit wants right now?
Perhaps not, but they are not in the best position to be picky right now and some kind of move is probably necessary.
The day is young, but the clock is ticking. How many trades will we see on deadline day in 2022?

The Packers' last chance to change their fortune...
The Packers are doing worse than anyone anticipated and QB Aaron Rodgers has made it obvious he's not pleased with his receiving corps. Is Green Bay going to make a move?
The Packers' needs go beyond just receivers, though that's one of their major weaknesses. They could also use help at tight end, offensive tackle, and defensive tackle.
Thus, they could be targeting the major receivers that everyone else is: Jerry Jeudy, Chase Claypool, and Brandin Cooks. But they could also potentially be looking at WRs Elijah Moore, Denzel Mims, or Curtis Samuel.
As far as tight ends, they could potentially target Mike Gesicki or Albert Okwuegbunam. They could also be looking to potentially trade for OT Isaiah Wynn or DT Mike Purcell.
Whatever they decide, the countdown is going, with just 8hours left to make a move.
Will the Cowboys make a move?
Though the Dallas Cowboys have turned their season around after a gloomy initial outlook, they could still use some help at wide receiver. Potential trades would be Broncos' Jerry Jeudy, Steelers' Chase Claypool, or Texans' Brandin Cooks.
Read more about potential moves the Cowboys could make here.
The Giants among those interested in Jeudy
The New York Giants are apparently interested in Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, but it's not certain if they're willing to pay the price. They would likely have to part with a second-round pick at the least.
Would the Saints trade away Kamara?
Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported a potential move for Saints running back Alvin Kamara.
“There have been conflicting reports on Alvin Kamara, but one GM told me he thought the Saints would consider moving him to the Eagles if Philadelphia gives them back the first-rounder they traded in April,” Breer wrote.
The Saints are at 3-5 despite having a talented roster and shutting out the Raiders in Week 8. Saints GM Mickey Loomis has received calls about trading Kamara, but whether or not he will go for it is another story.

Akers to Bucs?
Rams running back Cam Akers is among those players up for grabs ahead of the deadline. Tampa Bay could try their hand at snatching him up.
The Rams would also keep Akers if they can't find a spot for him. He's set to make $1.1 million and $1.4 million in 2023, well within the Bucs' price range. They owe Leonard Fournette $7 million a year during his contract and lost a third-round pick to get Rachaad White. But it would be low risk to try to acquire another running back and Akers would be a low-cost, low-risk pickup.
Nyheim Hines for sale?
The Colts running back is drawing interest from various teams.
Nyheim Hines agreed to a 3-year, $18.6 million contract extension with Indy this year. He has been a bit underutilized this year. He's rushed for 36 yards on 18 carries and has 25 receptions for 188 yards in seven games.

Kareem Hunt - where will he end up?
The Browns running back Kareem Hunt has expressed his displeasure with his limited role with the Cleveland Browns, but as the deadline approaches, he said he's "down for whatever".
Rumor has it, the LA Rams are also "whatever" about trading for Hunt, but that the Philadelphia Eagles could potentially be interested.
Hunt requested a trade during training camp, but the Browns maintained that they would keep him at that time. Now, they've been looking to trade him for a fourth-round draft pick.
The 7-0 Eagles made a deal last week when they got Robert Quinn from the Chicago Bears, but rumors are about that Howie Roseman is still making moves. If they get Hunt, they would have a solid RB2 behind Miles Sanders, which would boost their offense even more.
Texans unwilling to trade Jerry Hughes
Multiple teams are interested in trading for Houston Texans defensive end Jerry Hughes, but apparently he's not for sale, according to Jordan Schultz.
Brandin Cooks, too old and too expensive for trade?
A trade is not out of the question, but a 2nd-round draft pick is a big ask for a 29-year-old receiver who has an $18 million guaranteed base salary in 2023.

Who wants Bradley Chubb?
The Denver Broncos offensive linebacker Bradley Chubb is for sale for the price of a first-round pick.
According to Peter King, the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are interested in a potential tracer for Chubb.
Roquan Smith leads the NFL in tackles. Why would the Bears trade him away? Well, it was a long-term decision that made sense financially for the Bears.Read more here.
Christian McCaffrey already making a difference for 49ers
The former Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey was traded to the 49ers and immediately made an impact. He proved how quickly he could learn the Niners offense.
