Patrick Mahomes seen celebrating in first public appearance since SB LIX
Patrick Mahomes has begun his bittersweet offseason, and was seen in public for the first time since the Kansas City Chiefs lost Super Bowl LIX.

Patrick Mahomes is still licking his wounds after a Super Bowl LIX blowout loss earlier this month, but he looked like he had put the loss behind him at least for a few seconds on Monday night.

The moment of the night came in a timeout break of the first half when a student from the stands was selected to take a full court putt. The kid stepped to the plate and drained the 84 foot putt to win a prize that the local sponsors were giving out in Lubbock, but the real prize was getting some love from Patrick Mahomes after sinking the putt.
Mahomes who has to be a bit bruised and battered from a long NFL season leapt to his feet and gave the guy a hip bump as the crowd erupted on one of the loudest roars of the night. The commentators even mentioned the Chiefs being worried about the jump, but he walked away from the celebration unharmed.
